I broke down and bought season 1 of Oz on DVD. If you haven't seen it, you really need to. It was HBO's first 1 hour drama series and it set the tone for so many others. It's dark, gripping, funny... It has everything you could ask for in a good TV show.

Ha...I can do that to people. Incidentally, I had to fight for a while with my machine (the power supply wasn't good enough, so I had to trot to Best Buy to pick up a new one), plus I had to deal with my Windows XP CD not supporting more than 130GB hard drives (ugh...), but thanks to many hours of configuring (and PartitionMagic), I'm back with a fully-functional Windows PC. Lord of the Rings Online and Oblivion, so far, can't stand a chance against my graphics card, as I've pretty much maxed all settings at 1280x1024 and my computer is taking it like a champ.

Next step: install Ubuntu on my PC and my USB drive, get that set up, and then it's overclocking time!

Anyway, time to go to a stupid birthday party, so I'll be back in a while. No B-P for me. :-(

Another weekend of little activity for me, too much tennis and lazing around in the sun (and that crappy work thing), not enough time for NG. It's hurting my B/P pace a little, though to be honest I'm enjoying the time away from it, I've been too obsessed for too long. Time to wind down before the summer.

Didn't bowl this week, so no wickets. I have however now scored more runs this year than I did in the whole of last season. I'm up to 22 this year and the most I've ever scored in a full season is 49. I'll have to pass my highest career score of 19 in the near future, to help myself out.

Ok I am going to annouce this now officially.

In three weeks I will be leaving the state and heading to the centre of Australia for a school camp. As you probably know, the middle of the desert does not have internet connection nor does it have any computers (as far as I know). So I will need body from the EGB to do the fortnightly update for me.

Doing the update for the EGB is a great priveledge and is a great way to gain some respect and recognition. I am looking for a trusty user to make this update for the EGB just for the week I will be away. The date to do the update is the Tuesday the 3rd of July. This will be the only time you will need to do it because I will be back before the next one is due.

As some of you know, I have created a some what automatic system that gets the job done a fair bit faster.

If you are interested in applying for this temperary position you must be willing to give up AT LEAST one hour of your day to do it and you must also be dedicated to finishing it and properly.

I am making this post now because it will take a while for me to teach you how to correctly use the excel program I have made and what else is involved in the process.

If you are interested in taking on the responisibility of creating the Barracks update for one week please PM me including any information to why you think you would be good at it. Also, if you have a hotmail address or just a plain email address, enclose it so that if you are chosen I will be able to send you step by step information to teach you the process.

The EGB is counting on you for this update. Are you willing?

I really ought to start playing cricket again in the future- I used to play at school and really enjoyed it, but switched to playing tennis in the Summer after a few seasons. My proudest moment was top scoring in a match for the school (with an incredible 3 runs! Yeah, we weren't too good).
