Because my plans with Amanda fell through, I decided to have a night on my own tonight. I went to the local porn shop. Do you know how goddamn expensive actual porn is? DVDs for $30? Tapes for $20? Fuck that... And the magazines? Not much under $10. I got a copy of "Hustler". It was cheap and it's just hard enough to suit my tastes; other than "Playboy" and "Swank", I didn't recognize anything else. I didn't see "Penthouse." I walked around their dildo room and just laughed. They had some so big that only goatse'd people could use them. The people that work there are nice. I cracked some jokes about midgets shitting Coke cans and stuff like that and they thought it was funny. I might go back soon and maybe get a blow up doll or something.

That is a list of everyone signed up to the NG log, so it isn't the real list. The rank in your profile is where you are at the moment, so just use that- about 1700 last I looked. You will rise up the rankings quickly at the moment, but it gets A LOT harder as you near the top (I made 2 ranks last week and I consider it a good one).

Can't be bothered to quote anyone else, especially as I am having a lot of connection problems with NG at the moment. Pretty much every page I click on times out and takes 1 or 2 minutes before it starts to work. That means every movie I vote on times out when I click on the submission in the portal, and then again when I vote, so needless to say my pace is dreadful.

I remember a comment from PenguinLink about having a 12 pack in the fridge- he clearly doesn't know me at all...

Coop's Spidey 3 Verdict
Overall, it's a good film. I don't think the fights were too short, as they compensated for that with the fact there were more of them. You've got to accept that this film was really to do with the characters more so than the action (buildup to Spidey 4?)

I was really pissed off that I didn't spot Bruce Campbell until I was driving home. I smacked the steering wheel and swore quite a lot, much to my girlfriend's displeasure. His parts are getting bigger, the same as Stan Lee's. I think he's enjoying the limelight as well.

Also, when Stan Lee made an appearance, less than half of the people in my theater knew who he was. No one else knew who Stan Lee was. And I was just "If you don't know who Stan Lee is, why on earth are you watching Spider-Man in the first place?"

Yes Venom was cool, so was the scene in the bell-tower, but Edward Brock Jr was a complete tit.

whenever his P.Cc gets fixed, a friend is fixing it for free so it might not be fixed all that quickly as Slash said the guy had to do the jobs he get5s paid for first.

The whole point of having a weak, little scrawny kid play Spiderman, is that it was a nerd who got bitten and got superhuman powers, not some 6'5" 250 football player. In the comic book series, instead of "organic" webs like in the movie, he had a little thing he made to shoot the webs. The director cut that out because who would believe a highschool student could do that.

An ok day in the portal today, and my connection problems are improving, though it still isn't perfect. I've hit over 100 points since yesterday's top 300 update anyway, so no complaints from me. DreamofDuke is now very close to being passed, something all self respecting EGB members aim to do one day.

I made over my quota. I even have over 20 points brewing. I think I can get to 2900 tomorrow. That should be fairly easy. So I think I can make it past 2900 tomorrow. I'm gonna shoot for 2950 tomorrow. If I can get that close, I'll aim for 3000 by the end of tomorrow. That was a mini goal I set for myself. I didn't think I could make it up to that this quickly, but now that I think about it, it should be fairly simple.

So I saw this thing on Yahoo. It was a news article pimping something that ABC had recently done. It was a debate between Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort and two of the people from the Rational Response Squad. You can find it here. It's interesting whether you believe in a god or not.

Nice catch there, I had the same problems at level 5, it could have been just a popup from one of the multiple I.E.'s I had open though, but I really doubt it. Flagged several minutes ago.

Well, the portal treated my okay last night. I needed to get to 2850 and I got to 2883. I hope to get to 2950 by tonight. It's a big stretch for me because I generally get between 40 and 50 in a day. I'm just gonna shoot for as close as I can get to 2950. I'll probably just get to 2930 at the most. That's okay. That'll put me at about 3000 on Wednesday. That's just past the update, but that's fine. That puts me more than a week ahead of my actual goal.

I'm gonna post some more of "Dave" and my comic today. Don't miss out!

I love these little spam attacks! I'm pretty sure it is the same group of users who submitted those barney bunch flashes a few weeks back- it certainly fits their style of flooding the portal with 30 or so submissions in a matter of minutes.

They all got blammed anyway, so a nice big points boost for anyone lucky enough to catch them :D

Fuck yeah, and maybe I can get those whistle points, too. I might just get a gold one today. And this little boost puts me right where I need to be for tonight.
