Well i do know how hard it is to get your VP up and i am also trying to get to 6.0 VP. But im like close to alot of things: New Rank, Lvl, and 6.0 VP. And i guess i will have all of that in due time.

Yeah, it has been horrible today. I'm at around 400 points for the week so far though (4 days in), so not doing badly at all. Around 70 points for the day.

Not that bad really- I was 1 point away when I neared level 13. And plenty of people get leveled back down when Pimp deposits. Congrats on the rank up tomorrow anyway, not that I like the boxing glove. At least that is one less level 9 to get confused about- there seem to be a lot at the moment!

Well, I downloaded Portal guard at last, and it's working out fine for me, though I wish the notice on the side that pops up would be a bit bigger or if that could be an option. How about the rest of you, any of you use Portal guard, besides Slash.

I use it when on my laptop at home- it makes it a lot easier to do other things and just come back every time I hear the box pop up. If you don't minimise the main window, rather leave it open, but behind your other windows, it usually pops to the front when a new submission comes in. That may be a solution to the box being too small.

Though even portal guard couldn't get me a good pace today thanks to the slow portal :(

I don't use portal guard, because I'm ALWAYS on Newgrounds when I'm online. And I'm always online except for when I'm sleeping. XD

That's not as bad as when you're only 1 point away. Or worse, when you actually get to the level, then when Pimp deposits, you're back down the your original level, and then you have to wait another day before you can get your level back.

Something that happens far too often.

I've not used it, because most of my B/P comes while I'm in the office, so having that flash up when the boss is looking at my screen could be a little difficult to explain. When I'm at home, I'll check the portal every 10-15 minutes, so I get access to most of the available points.

I use it from time to time. Usually i would go on NG for around half an hour, grab points on all UJ entries from the portal and then do something else, it's when i am doing something else that i would use portal guard. I wish the little pop-up windows were a clickable link to that portal entry.

I wish PG would do that, too, or at least open it up in a separate window. It's a bitch trying to do ebay shit when you have the little dinging noise every few seconds. It is fairly useful, though. I'd say it's added a few extra points to my b/p.

Is the original flash on that car insurance site mentioned in the flash?? I couldn't see it.

To solid one: No mention was in the flash, author's comments or his profile. However the site it was from proudly presents it. I think this user needs to work harder when faithful users are on patrol

I'd advise anyone who uploads flash on Newgrounds to always have their username somewhere in the intro of their work, to make it clear that it truly belongs to them, as well as listing any other websites the flash has been submitted to. Would save the B/P'ers a lot of trouble and prevent incorrect flagging for authors.

Well most of the time i can reconize a stolen flash. But lately i havent really been able to find any so i can rack up on my whistle points. (Im also trying to get a silver whistle.)
