Thanks man!

Anyway, my Dad is now here for the next couple of days (he's sleeping off the jetlag right now), so you can expect to see a little less of me for a few days, not to mention a significant fall in B/P points. I'll try and pop on in the evenings when he is asleep if I can.

Somewhere around 100 points again today, so I'm making up for missing the weekend- over two hundred points since late Sunday evening. EGSC is now less than 600 points away...

Slash Firestorm is a character in my long-running personal novel I've written since I was thirteen. He's a Demon with a rather hard-ass view towards humanity (kinda like myself)...although I use him in various other incarnations, such as my Pokemon lemon fanfiction (rofl).

He looks like my profile picture, sans the stupid smile, heh.

My story is rather basic really, my favorite group for many years has been "Dark Lotus" and their fans are considered Juggalo's, so I put the two together and came up with my name DarkLotusJuggalo. I know it doesn't have as much meaning behind it as some other users but it has enough in my opinion.

And thats how my alias came about!

Wow, I had always been wondering... Your alias always made me think of stereo and Dolby surround systems....

Now its your turn!

Well, I haven't been really original here... There's this hardcore punk band, The Casualties. I used to love them (years ago) and I though, "Why not become one of them". So I slit my wrists and banged my head on the wall, and there! I was a Casualty!

(I made up the painful part. But I did find this alias thanks to the band. But you already knew that. Isn't it? You didn't? Oh.. well....)

This is my 1000th post so I thought I'd spend it answering Stero's questions over the past few days.

At 4/10/07 04:11 AM, Sterockicy wrote: Who still has school?

Well I started back last week. I haven't really been going, and I have nothing to really show for it unlike SlashFirestorm. But I've decided to go, well at least more than nothing. Spent 4 hours doin chemistry yesterday, quite painful as I had just gotten up at 2 and hadn't eaten anything. But as a reward, I saw Sunshine and Blades of Glory ( for the second time) in my local cinema. For free my I add, I know a guy who knows a guy.

Tell us, How you came up with your alias? and the story behind it.

Hmmm, well mine isn't the coolest story ever but, around 5 years ago my family had just got the internet. This is when the only thing that existed in Ireland was Dial-Up and it went at a snail's pace. I was sitting there, not knowing what to look up. So I went onto the Star Wars Official website and to get onto most of the content you need to have an account, so I tried the usual star wars related ones. And I thought I'd mix my actual name, Shane, with Darth Sidious' to make Darth Shanus. Shanus would become my User name for everything just because nobody uses it.

As I created it when I was 13 I didn't really understand that it sounded like anus. But I've lived with it. So if you ever see a member called Shanus or Sunahs on a website it's usually me.

Sunahs is Shanus backwards for the Barracks members with very little imagination

Well, back in 1983, I was born and I grew up in my own special way. I spent a lot of time watching my dad playing cricket in the summer and his nickname, Coop, kind of rubbed off on me. I was the unofficial team mascot and it wasn't really a surprise to anyone when I followed in his fotsteps and began playing cricket myself.

Now when I go to play, some of the veterans who played with my dad still call me Coop, but when the players around my age call me Coop, I think that it's not because of my dad that they call me Coop, but because they know who I am.

I knocked off the 19, as it sucks. Every NG user was born inthe 20th century, so we know the 19 part. Somebody had already registered with Coop when I came here, so Coop83 was what I became and I never tried to change it to Coop.

A short poem about Newgrounds.

Sweet melodic hues of gold and black,
You lure my soul back with promises of hentai and glory.
Dark, your core is, filled with evil and hate
And yet I still continue to masturbate to your omnipotence.
I cannot venture out for fear of Rugrats sex and big bags,
But I also sort of like that sort of thing, it seems, with broken innocence and tainted dreams.
I listen to Bon Jovi and wander the halls, listening to preteens speak of cocks and balls and tentacle rape. I even think I saw some Bob the Builder porn somewhere in the back.

I cry tears of sperm and joy as I gaze upon my badge, a fiery mark of far too much time on my hands, unable to sustain a relationship for fear of it interfering with my Pokemon hentai bestiality fanfictions.
Angry faics and question marks dot the sky, cinnamon buns and sweet apple pie that I long to fuck into oblivion.
My computer drools as I pull up to General, my television playing a DVD of Shrek 2, and I sigh in orgasmic bliss as the flash files pop under my command.
My hands! Do they travel towards my loins yet again? Yes! O yes, they do!
For love is personified in the heart of a lolicon child.

And as I cry out for more, and the mods pull their rape-guns out and shower me with ban sticks,
I reach towards my pants and stroke my dick, like a panda cub or perhaps an odd type of ibuprofen pill.
I shout broken english at my monitor, demanding another dose of hentai quizzes, and yet I am denied; I have asked too much of my Lord.
The devil has my soul, and my testicles, in his hand; but as long as the pale golden bars and soothing thick fog of Newgrounds holds my heart, I feel naught but pleasure at his devious fondlings.
As my eyeballs melt from gamma radiation, I embrace the internet's light, and it is good, and cry out in joy as I make basic html.

O, Newgrounds, thou art myself; thou art my overdose of prescription medication; take me to the bare-breasted angels singing bad Kiss songs.

Good pace there. I hate being such an ass about these things, but please do not have stat only posts. Some mods will ban you for it if they see it, and that may get the Barracks in trouble (we never have been popular with the mods), and it would be better if you contributed to the conversation a bit anyway.

I replaced the link to go to my Pokemon story now, to more accurately reflect my loser-ness.

I'm actually B/P'ing today. Not keeping track of my numbers or anything, but just trying to get re-acquainted with the portal again...I missed it more than I thought. :-(

Ugh, you would start B/Ping again just as I'm catching you up! I remember when you were one of the fastest B/Pers around and I never thought I would catch you, especially as I was so inactive back then. I guess I'll have to wait a little longer.

B/Ping just gets to be a part of the daily routine after a while- when I am away travelling or whatever it kind of feels empty without it (that sounds so lame!). Having said that, when you have been B/Ping constantly for months on end it does get boring, especially when the portal is so slow. I'm looking forward to a little break when I hit EGSC next week- I just need to keep Hemlok behind me :D

There isn't much to tell about mine. Washu was my favorite anime character from my favorite anime at the time, but washu was already taken. So I punched in littlewashu instead and there you have it. I would have changed my username to something more creative, but I had grown too attached to the username I have now and I was already known as Littlewashu so I left it be.

Now since you decided to ask a random question I will ask one for you all.

What made each of you want join the EGB?

Mine was at first because it seemed like a NG army and I wanted to see what a E-army was like.

Anyhow, me and Afro-Stud are teaming up again, with the help of Cereal, to make the Slash Classics series truly epic. Been a long time since I worked in concert with people... :-D

I joined up like a total little Private First Class dork, wanting to stop 'bad flash' by any means necessary after Barney Bunch attacks and the like. Ironic that eventually I'd become open minded enough to not only understand them, but take up their style of flash (the non-rule breaking ones, anyway).

And joining the Barracks was totally worth it. Helped give me a strong sense of competition that led to me being glued to that portal for nearly a year, hauling in 100+ points a day...we managed to get many stolen flashes flagged, even coordinating with our buds in the NGPD...plus I found people to talk to who aren't mind-numbingly dumb! Yay! ^_^

Steps to coming up with a net handle like MadCow:

1) Be 11.
2) Think sometime really dumb is cool.
3) Stick with it, and have alts with other names you would have chosen ;p

I really am not sure how I came up with it. I think that whole Mad Cow disease thing was a big thing on the news at the time, so I figured, 'why not?'. I was originally DAMADCOW, but eventually got spruced up to just plain MadCow!

At 4/11/07 12:11 AM, Sterockicy wrote: NEW TOPIC!

Tell us, How you came up with your alias? and the story behind it.

...Prepare for a very long and odd story.

Back in 6th grade, me and my friends used to make these RPG games. Once we had some free time, we would grab a lot of paper, pencils, maybe some dice (Not D&D), some other stuff and quickly make all the stuff that we needed for the game.

Character sheets, area maps, story and a bunch of other stuff.

Now when we played, I always found myself using 'skills' related to speed. At that time, I enjoyed racing games a lot and I also beat pretty much every one of them.

Now, one day I got this yu-gi-oh game (Yes...I liked it once...) and played it. After a bit of playing, I found a custom battle mode (The way it was played isn't the old throw-a-card-on-the-playing-area-and-hope-for -the-best kind of a thing)

When I selected it, I found out that the name of the enemy I was facing was named...:

Deck Master K

It starting to get clear, right? Keep reading...

The next day, I found out that my friend, who made up the RPG games, had made other better one and we all decided it would be best to trash the original one and start over.

We then had to make up our names...

I thought...I kind of liked the 'K' in 'Deck Master K'...and I was a master at racing games and I liked speed a lot...Merge the three together and what do we get?

'Speed Master K'

That was my name for the RPG game my friend made...It stuck for a while, as I used that name in various places.

Now, lets skip ahead to something...

...I like foxes...really! A lot...

I'm also a Sonic fan...my favorite character is Tails...

That was it...One night, I was in my room, thinking about things...I didn't like racing games much anymore...

Now...we all know some people make up these characters and say 'This is me' or something like that...

An idea hit me right away.

I didn't like racing games much anymore, I like foxes and I'm a Tails fan...

So this happened:

1. I took out 'Speed Master' and was left with 'K'
2. I added 'Fox' at the end, forming 'KFox' and added a dash to form 'K-Fox'
3. Since I'm a big Tails fan, I choose to make myself into a Tails lookalike.

So, I went on my computer, took a Tails sprite, and recolored it a color...blue...Which is what my profile picture is...darken a bit because it is saved as a JPG file (Not in MS Paint, in something called The GIMP 2)

...And that is the story of my name, I've never changed it since. I really like it. I didn't expect it to be taken when I joined NG. Nice because I saved time I would have wasted if I had put in some other name, only to found out it was taken. I couldn't have thought of anything good if that happened...

I've also used that name in RPG games I've made myself.

Just so I could have a place to talk with others. The problem is, I don't post here much unless I'm about to log out.

Still fun though.

Oh yeah, was anyone getting errors when they voted on something? There is a thread about it.

It isn't happening to me anymore...it might of have been fixed already.

Hi again!

I see a lot of you have answered my question and I was very VERY interested in hearing your stories! Man I love it when people answer my questions. Its really brought the EGB back to life.

I feel powerful!

I had just made it to Elite Guard status and I just randomly decided to look at the other sections of the BBS. I had never looked at Audio, Clubs and crews or Programming before. So I looked through all of the sections and while looking through the Clubs and Crews section I found the Elite Guard something or other. "Hey thats me" I said. So I looked at the first page, then I looked at the last page (I think it was page 566 at the time). Having 1500 points at the time, I thought I was like a god and that I had made it to something barely anyone had done before. I joined, and then I realised I was pathetic, Compared to most of you! My spirits werent completely shattered though, I went to school a few days later and while one of my NERDY friends was talking about runescape I talked about Newgrounds. I told him that I had estimated that I would be on the top 50 b/p'ers list by the start of this year at school (February) Clearly, that didnt happen and thanks to the EGB my spirit is completely crushed. After a few weeks, I started to post here more and the rest is history.

Thats my story!
