Well, once again my rank has gone up. I passed 2500b/p points today and it seems easier to gain more b/p points now. Mainly with help from the program Casuality made.

I hope everyone else is having as easy a time as me in gaining more points.

Ah, I was referring to the top 300 list posted in the Wi/Ht forum, rather than a Barracks update. Although the Barracks updates are great and much appreciated, I always measure my weekly pace from the other thread. As I understand it there is another Barracks update due tomorrow (or tonight, I'm a bit confused by all the time zones). I know Sterockicy said every other Tuesday anyway...

A good day in the portal today, and this new 'Portal Guard' is making sure I don't miss a thing! Plus I don't have to sit here refreshing all the time anymore, as I can hear whenever something comes in and can go fetch my points :D. It's amazing how many submissions I was missing before- some really small entries get blammed incredibly fast- without this new program I'd be unlikely to see them.

Plus Hemlok is now just 40 points ahead of me. It's taken me two months to catch up the two weeks I lost at Christmas, but the long hunt is finally coming to an end!

It notifys you when something new is submitted to the portal. Its an awesome program really, it has helped me rack up more points than usual. I even went up another rank today!

My wife still backs me up when I can't b/p so that helps me too. But I doubt I got that much. I'd say it's probably closer to 90-100 a day. I'd have to check to be sure but I'm almost positive I didn't get that much.

It sure was quiet in here last night... and I don't really have a great deal to say now, but I'll do my best to pad this post out :)

I passed Hemlok last night, after 2 months of chasing him back down after the weeks I lost at Christmas. I'm not sure if he has even noticed yet, his pace is still remarkably slow, but I'm not complaining. It's been a fun battle, and with various plans over the next month he may well take the spot back again, but for the time being enjoy the screen shot I whipped up this morning :D (I'm the top one by the way...)

During the day (when you are on) it is horribly slow. You'll be delighted to hear it picks up in the evening, which is helping the rest of us keep a half decent pace. It still isn't great though, and I'm well short of 100 per day again.

Sorry for my absence in the barracks lately. I havent been able to get on the computer much almost all of this week. I think I have made only 75 points since the last update, SHOCKING! I am no longer b/ping during the late night/early morning, which is also wearing down my pace. Luckily I only have 3 more days of school left until holidays and when that happens I will be b/ping crazy.

I would like to inform you all that pwroftheseagoats did not make as many points as my update said. As Sentio posted after I made it, It was in fact an error and it was a previous update that gave him 1000 less points. Meaning this week it appeared he had made 1000 more. Luckily it does not effect the top 5 gainers list and he still holds the top position for that.

I think I'm not that far from Lieutenant General, myself. I can't believe how slow it's going after the start we had to the week -.-

During the day (when you are on) it is horribly slow. You'll be delighted to hear it picks up in the evening, which is helping the rest of us keep a half decent pace. It still isn't great though, and I'm well short of 100 per day again.

It's all a matter of being online as much as possible to maximise the production of the account.

Sorry for my absence in the barracks lately. I havent been able to get on the computer much almost all of this week. I think I have made only 75 points since the last update, SHOCKING! I am no longer b/ping during the late night/early morning, which is also wearing down my pace. Luckily I only have 3 more days of school left until holidays and when that happens I will be b/ping crazy.

Well, pace goes up and down, as I well know. If I'd been B/Ping at my current pace from the start I'd have 80,000 points by now, and be around 5th overall. It's just a case of making the most of it when you do get the chance. Enjoy those holidays- this is the first year I've been wprking instead of studying, so no Easter break for me :(.

I would like to inform you all that pwroftheseagoats did not make as many points as my update said. As Sentio posted after I made it, It was in fact an error and it was a previous update that gave him 1000 less points. Meaning this week it appeared he had made 1000 more. Luckily it does not effect the top 5 gainers list and he still holds the top position for that.

Yeah, it isn't the end of the world, but you can tell when something is very out by looking at the top 300 list (for the higher ranked users anyway), and seeing the pace they have had on there. Pwroftheseagoat was going at just around 100 per day on that, so there had to be something wrong. Plus anything higher than about 110 per day just isn't going to happen at this time of year. He still had a damn good pace though!

Thanks, it may not mean much to you lot, but for me it's a big deal as he has been my target for months now. He's slowed down a lot this week, and I'm pulling out a good gap for the time being. Something tells me he'll be back though.

Hehe, the odd mistake is inevitable with that much data, and I'm happy to carry on pointing them out to you. Those updates are great, and it's nice that they are becoming a regular thing again. It's appreciated that you put the effort in, so the odd blip here and there doesn't matter (unless it is costing me top spot!!!!)
