well, the portal is still veeery slow, i only see about 2-3 submissions every half hour :P this is really bad for my B/P-ing

Yes and no for me. This is the first full day I've been able to get any portal work done, so I've cashed in (first in a while). But it is terribly slow, which just means I get to lurk the BBS and write more reviews. (Goals for end of January: 35 reviews, 2000+ b/p, 325 bbs posts)

The Portal is indeed slow, fellow soldiers (and officers). I am getting very behind on my B/P, as it is getting harder and harder to make th e100 B/P quota. It's a good thing I was about 70 points ahead, as it is letting me make my daily benchmarks (for instance, my benchmark for the end of today is 8,600 B/P). I'm currently at 8,608 B/P, which mean's I've hit the quota, but I still need to get to about 8,660 B/P to get 100 B/P today. I really with the Portal would just speed up!

Here is a check in right now for me,i got up at like 8:00am EST did some b/ping till 12:00pm EST then left to do my thing for a while and came back to do a little more till about 6:30 or 7:00pm EST,as of right now i got 35 b/p but i will try to make it back for the rest of the night at around 10:00 or 11:00pm EST i'm a busy person,sorry troops. =(

Mine is 50 a day. 100 is just too demanding for me.

This is a perfect speed for me because I can log in roughly every 2 hours and still get alot of points without missing too many. Also im slowly trying to drop my b/p per day to around 25.

On weekdays i usually get around 60-80 a day (sometimes even 100) but on weekends i get between 140-170 but i'm usually real busy on weekdays so that's why i don't get as much b/p points.

Just finished my homework moments ago. My new mathematic professor (I take calculus 3) was fired up as the homework which was due tomorrow was 11 pages long. :P But it is a pleasure for me to get it done before mid-night. Considering that I take 18 credit hours classes this semester with some professors who are known for giving tons of homework. I seriously doubt that I will be able to b/p a lot. But I will try as hard as I can to earn some points in my limited time. :P I noticed that my total b/p is approching 13000 now and it is amazing that I am almost have way through.

Despite a quite slow day on the portal, I managed to get a more-than-expected 118 points! That makes up for my 90-point gain a couple days ago, lol. Greatness.
I won't be here tomorrow from around 6-10 pm CST, because of my "life", but hopefully I'll get at least 100 before I have to go.

DEFCON Update:

Since the Portal is as slow as ever, I am keeping the DEFCON at DEFCON 4. The DEFCON is not moving lower (and has not lately) due to the regular activities of several groups on Newgrounds. Potential attacks (including anti-phallic ones) should keep Elite Guards alert until morning.

Good luck with your patrolling, sir. Indeed, advanced training can cause much time to go away. I personally find ways to take quick 5-10 minute stops onto the Portal every hour when I work, as I can work in a very distracted manner. Hopefully you can find Portal time as well, sir.

Nice to know one of us was able to do it, Sergeant First Class. I am currently at 97 points with 6 UJ flash, which I can handle. I will try to stretch out my Portal time for another hour or so, but find it's usually better to retire earlier and get the early morning rush.

I did something similar...I signed up, and didn't really do anything but lurk on Newgrounds for a year or so, then came back (virtually all of my B/P's were attained in the past couple months, lol). Well, if you wish to become a member of the Barracks, you certainly have earned the right, Staff Sergeant! Welcome aboard!
