Althpugh, I have to ask... Is the Wii controller any good, I can't help but imagine how odd one must look flinging around a controller all while hoping you don't break something.
You'd be surprised. Wii Sports is tons of fun, while playing Zelda is actually surprisingly good. The controller, when playing it like a conventional game, is great. Zelda controls are as follows:
- Move with thumbstick on nunchuck
- A (thumb button on wiimote) - talk, roll, interact
- B (trigger button on wiimote) - attack, use attack item, etc.
- Z (on nunchuck) - target
- C (above Z on nunchuck) - camera
- Move wiimote like a sword - unsheath sword or attack if it is unsheathed
- D-pad - select different items you have set up and replace them with item for B button
- '+' button - character screen
- '-' button - item screen
- 1 - access world map
- 2 - toggle screen map
Very intuitive, very easy. Also, the Wii is very comfortable to use as a regular controller. You can hold your hands however you want to, unlike with a conventional controller, where your hands have to grip it a certain way. I can play Zelda wtih my hands at my sides. Kickass.
And about the stupid people that break their TVs with the Wiimote, that's because they are playing baseball like they're actualliy trying to pitch a 90mph fastball. You do NOT need to work that hard to play the game. I've only slipped once with the Wiimote, and the strap caught it. I hear Nintendo is developing a stronger strap for the crybabies, though.
Bottom line: I was a Wiimote skeptic, too. But after trying it, I knew right away it was a winner design. Nintendo wins again. And their remotes are STILL indestructable, just like the NES controller.

Heh, I'm sure she likes losing just as well. I'm guessing for some reason she's a bit..."Upset" how you are a "manipulative, victory obsessed, babbling bastard", or as we call it, "guys"
She's actually really good, too. She's almost at pro status in Wii Bowling. I usually win, but not by much. She can average 150-200, which is not bad at all. I average about 180-220, so it can be a battle between us sometimes. You should see when her parents come over...both of them bowl in real life, so it's a struggle of epic proportions.
lol, Wii
I rescind that order. I don't like biscuits. 50 laps while I drink coffee and eat donuts. :-)
Oh Americans... Fine, but since Sir had to change his order, 150 laps. Also the key to the gun rack will be comfortably placed inside of the of the lock and I will be away for the night. Have fun.
LOL. I'm in a good mood, though. After the 150 laps, BEER AND BUFFALO WINGS FOR ALL.
I love Macs.
I'm alright with Macs, it's you I don't like <_<.
That's not nice...
Even the Major stores won't be selling a Wii here...An Xbox of any kind is still rare and overly expensive, seems Sony owns the Middle East Mr. Fancy pants.
Jeez...and I thought it was hard to get consoles in the States...
