True, Clock Day will have a huge amount of protects. But there will be some utter crap submitted by asshats as well, and very likely some flag-worthy flashes as well, submitted in the hopes that everyone, in their mad race for protects, will just click the view button, close out the box, and vote 5 as soon as the vote bar comes up.

So, watch every flash. Don't have to watch the entirety of every flash, but watch enough that you get a feel of the entire flash...that means beyond the preloaders, too...we all know how many flashes have phenominal preloaders and no substance beyond it.

And for the love of Fulp, if you're going to be protecting things on Clock Day solely for the protect points, vote 2 or 3 instead of 5...minimize the lunacy as much as you can...

But if you see something you feel is blam-worthy, go ahead and vote for the blam. Not EVERYTHING is going to pass on Clock Day...and if some whistle-worthy flash gets through the madness because of everyone, including us, being lust-driven for protect points, we'll have failed in our duty to protect the portal.

Hey Slash you don't even know if the portal is going be flooded like last year, and even if it is you are not suppose to tell people how to vote that is completely against the rules of not only NG but the EGB rules as well. We are suppose to be setting an example on fair voting. Also you are suppose to watch the whole flash movie then vote not just a part of it. for all you know there may be something at the end that may change you mind to vote the other way, or they may sneak something in that make it whistle worthy. it saying those type of things that could get us in trouble with the mods. also we got a lot of people who don't like us because they think we massvote and you posting like this give them something to prove their point. I believe the member of the EGB are smart enough to know how to vote without being told how to.

Well it was more of a suggestion than an order, lol. My main theme was that, if someone is going to vote sheerly for points, at least minimize the damage by not fifening everything, if they're not going to watch it.

Yeah, people should watch the entirety of every flash. Although if I see a 4000 k flash that has stick figure sex or "big bag" from the beginning, even I tend to not sit through the whole thing, lol. But yeah, Washu is right. Better to give an entire flash a chance than risk protecting shit or blamming gold. Remember Salad Fingers 1? The preloader was just a stick figure. But the stuff after it, gold.

As for members of the Barracks knowing how to vote right...I'd like to think so, too, but some people have expressed that they may just go protect everything. And I will re-iterate that anyone who does say they're just going to fifen everything may be in trouble with us.

If anyone is going to just fifen everything, either don't do it, or don't let us find out. Because the Barracks policy is a fair vote...not voting for maximum points. I know it's kind of weird saying "vote fair or else", but we will not tolerate people promoting mass-protecting things any more than we tolerate mass-blamming.

I myself would have to give it a 1 because it's an unfinished loop. However, if you finished it up and decided to submit it, I'd give it at least a 3. It's a good start for only having flash since yesterday.

Speaking of Clock Day, I am rushing to finish my flash, lol. Snap, Metal, how the hell did you make something so good so quickly? I've been tinkering with flash for months and can barely manage better than a Barney Bunch-esque Secret Episode...

In any case, my flash should be done in time. Even if not done by midnight EST, I'm sure Clock Day won't really get crazy until North American daytime, so I'll be able to finish it up. I may also submit another flash, which was my second most complex work (my Clock Day one being the most complex), simply because it'll have a better chance of passing on Clock Day.

Although, if Slash Returns and Slash Returns: Ascension can both pass, surely my "Liz's Birthday Tribute" flash can, as well, even without Clock Day's help. But hey, never hurts to submit at strategic times! :-P

Okay, for the rest of today, I may not be on Newgrounds much/at all. I'll TRY to B/P some, but I really need to finish up my flash, and I have some yardwork to do as well. I'm going to be sleeping in the afternoon so I will wake up just before Clock Day officially begins, so that I can easily be awake for every hour of the 15th, hehe.

i havent seen any of them around lately, has anyone else? i guess eagle is still trying to get the moving deal settled and ghost is dealing with computer troubles still, but im not sure where joker went. ah well, im sure theyll turn up soon enough.

It takes under-judgement submissions about 1-2 hours to reach their fate, maybe if you can work out a deal with your bro so that you can at least use the computer for 15 minutes every hour so you can easily get dozens and dozens of b/p.
