I have a question. In the obits, many of the Sunshine flashes have been deleted, with passing scores. Has Wade given a reason, or is it just a new unofficial rule that anything they pump out will be deleted regardless of content?

Also, how long has this Sunshine group or whatever been around?

And last question, do we get blam points when an admin removes them? I haven't been able to make a daily point count yet, due to my screwy sleep schedule, so I wouldn't know.

In any case, even if we don't, remember soldiers, to vote what you feel is right. Every flash, regardless of origin, deserves a fair chance; and likewise, every flash you do not approve of deserves a blam, regardless of if it'll pass or not.

I don't have any answers for you but I would like to point out that the deletion of theese flashes has lowered my reviews by at least 23 and I'm sure there are more people like me and one suggestion to to see how long they've been around just go check out the first flash and see the date they submmited it

Tom and Jim have updated the system to allow authors to manually remove their own submissions if they meet certain criteria without going through them (Tom and Wade).

i remember seeing the article, punisher. there were lots of people that were happy but plenty were up in arms over losing reviews and points and the like. i think there was some unnecessary bickering that went with it, but thats beside the point.

do you think that the authors of the sunshine flashes went around removing all their own submissions? seems a little strange to me that they would go to such lengths to submit, what, upwards of 50 or so flashes and then remove them. i cant figure out why they have been deleted. none broke the rules or anything. meh, glad i never wrote any reviews for them.

by the way, apologies for my inactivity here. vacation and computer apathy set in about 2 weeks ago.

It's possible they removed their earliest sunmissions because they felt they weren't as good as their current submissions (which is a matter of opinion depending on who you ask, I myself am neutral to their submissions). That is one of the many questions that we'll probably have an answer to.

i guess that is a possibility, but i always thought they were pretty much the same. just me of course. im neutral to them as well. never really cared one way or the other about their stuff like some easily-aggrivated users. hopefully we will see some answers soon.

by the way...sunmissions = best accidentally placed pun / misspelling ever.

I have tragic, tragic news.

Not even three days after he returned, Brigadier General Firestorm was killed. Apparently several thousand nerdy females were so excited by his return, that they just...sexicized him to death.

These girls don't exist, but Brigadier General Slash believed it so much that the illusion still killed him. Like some kind of crazy Matrix action. That also explains how he did some of them on the ceiling.

While this is tragic, and maybe just a little pathetic, there is good news. Major General Firestorm will be replacing him, and he is bigger, stronger, and faster than Brigadier General Slash ever was. And besides, none of us really liked the old Slash, anyway.
