I'm sure every one has seen the file swap of a flash with the green day song in it... there were 2 of those today so I'm not sure which one it was but I guess one passed despite both had below average graphics.

That's a new way of trying to stop people from doing stuff like that. Tom needs to leave an example or two of shite on the portal so that there are benchmarks of what happens to those who tresspass with crap on the portal.

I just would like to ask every ones opinion on video and clay submissions. I might be one of the very few who thinks the portal should stay with flash submissions or good mixed ones that combine the elements... it's annoying to know that because some one has a toy and a web cam he can pass judgment because other people worship him because he made something with moving toys at home at the worst quality ever seen...

Easy. You must get 1500 B/P in order to reach your first Elite Guard. Once you reach Elite Guard Private, you will be welcome to join. Just looking at your profile, you have no B/P at all. I personally do not like most that I see, sir. There are few that make the cut for me, but I am not closed-minded to a plain video flash or a plain clay flash. For instance, the James Bond series that is actually UJ right now is a video I like and I vote 5 on. Other videos rarely get protection from me.

A plain video will never receive protection higher than 2 with me... it's simply against everything the portal used to represent before this clay/video bull started... a mixed one with good flash and a mixed video like in a couple of movies when actors work with air or a dummy and the character is added later... there was energizer flash/video once I liked but everything else is god awful in my eyes...

I disagree, it makes the portal more diverse, and unique, besides the flash doesnt mean its soley for flash, if people can use the flash and make more then flash then all for them, and if people can use the "FLASH" program then why not, besides some of the clay and movie like movies is good and really presents different styles from the artist...

Yes but those are usually few and most of the submission are by people who improvised some undefined figure in to a massive Wight 10 second movie... I have seen some clay movies that showed some amazing investing with eyes and convincing appearance... but most aren't and weigh a lot and take long to load for a horrible film...

The flash porta is a format for people to learn though, a place where they get feedback and what they can improve on, some people come here submit something then get scared away from sbusive users and never comeback, which is bad for them and bad for newgrounds...

As usual, General XwaynecoltX provides up with another great tip! Sir, I agree with you wholeheartedly on this. If I provide a review for someone, even if I don't like it, I generally do my best to provide criticism and support, rather than simply voting 0 and/or flaming them! Like I said, JUST because it's a clay or video submit doesn't mean it's not allowed to get a fair vote like any other flash!

I'm sure you'll agree most of the response a new author of any kind receives is very negative...but I'm not against all video and clays... Just the bad ones... the same policy I have with flash. Only it's more common to find a bad video/clay than a bad flash (proportionally)...

Oh, yea. Our major general TIT said that he was 75% done 3 days ago. I thought that I could see the list the day before yesterday but it never came out. TIT was never seen since last Sunday. (some people even tried to email him, but there was no reply.) I pray that I can see the list as soon as possible.

It would be more accurate as the list goes on because he still hasnt updated to our names yet. But hes already put down like the first 100 or so down on Saturday so for us its as accurate as its gonna get but for the higher ranked users itll be a few day back. But you can still get the point of pacing and such.

Makes perfect sense, as long as I don't too hard about it... but if he is over 75% percent done he might have already got to our name , don't you think? Much higher ranked people won't suffer too bad any ay because the hard competition will keep them in solid spot for a while...

There are currently four Barney Bunch flash under judgement that have been submitted in rapid-fire succession. However, this incident seems isolated and not to be repeated. EGFL Dream_of_Duke reports for duty sir! The newest b/p 51+ list has been posted. I saw many Elite Guards including myself made it to the 80+ per day list. :) By the way, all the BB moives have been terminated. :) But I am afraid that there will be some more. :P
