Aha. Sorry about that...the DEFCON system hasn't really been updated, has it?

DEFCON Update:

Honestly, the Portal is quite active (even for 5AM it was...I was up because I was woken up by something, so naturally I B/P before I fall back asleep). However, I still consider this a very active day bordering on the normal, so I am leaving the DEFCON at DEFCON 3. Remember that days like this were common in November and December, so it's not really that crazy. The Portal just has been THAT dry lately.

If the Portal gets that insane, I will execute a DEFCON change, but I see no reason to do so at the moment.

I was constantly paranoid that I would miss a few quick blams or a whistle-able entry.

I've missed a lot of B/P because I've started using my birthday money. I bought two games at Ebgames. One was the all New Super Mario Bros. and the other was Daxter for the PSP. I love both, but the original Super Mario Bros. on the NES is still the best. It's nice to have it on the go, and I love the whole new additions to the game, but it can't capture that old feeling that brought me into video games on the first place. I'm playing them while waiting for new flashes and when I'll see a movie later today.

Out of curiosity, could the next page just be everyone saying "salute?" And we could just keep quoting each other to make it even longer. I think it would be fun, but may be spamful. So, can we have permission to do that?

Frankly, I was enraged when I saw this crap. I would expect such posts from people outside the Barracks that think we care about their posts, but from Barracks members?? This is the first time in over 10,000 posts that a Barracks member has done this, and I would not like it repeated. As the Relations Officer said, continued acts will result in discharges. I didn't post in this thread for 6 months to have it locked by members who are "bored."

I accept the apology as well. Just please keep away from the spam posts. We have enough accusations just by being mistaken with the NGPD Headquarters and their chronic spamming. We don't need actual Barracks members doing it too. I've had to plead our case to several mods already, and that was without any spamming in here at all! This has not helped our case at all, and will probably come back to haunt me in the future.
