Life is currently beating me over the head with a stick. Phone and car both broke down at the same time, so I'm scrounging together money from DoorDash and donations to pay off repairs and rent. I'm embarrassed to admit it's kept me off site and away from my projects entirely the last couple weeks, and probably will for a few months. I finally just decided to ask for help.

So far I'm about 30% of the way to paying off the predatory car loan, so it's a start. Hope to be back soon with better news

I waited for a day without posting it on the EGB but didn’t got removed.

i assumed they turned off the flag meaning the whistle points were lost.

i asked one of the moderators to prove that this is a resubmitted blammed video and finally they removed it.

The mods aren't going to PM you about it. I mean, they will but it's not in the job to tell everybody that they did something wrong and that jazz, because as far as I recollect a mod explaining it (If you know what I'm talking about, link here because I'm too lazy to look back. I'm pretty sure it was Pingu's post?), people just don't care about the rules or just straight up bitch and moan. THOUGH speaking of bitching and moaning...

This is a 1 second animation loop, without sound. Seems to be an iffy middle ground between putting it on the Movie Portal and Art Portal. So far, the Movie and Art Guidelines don't seem to touch up on this.

And that begs the question: Where do we draw the line? What kind of rules should be in place to accomodate cases like this?

If it's a 10 second long ball (circle) bouncing animation or something of no effort, what I do is vote. I mean, v0te. If it's a long animation loop, same deal. It's how to keep quality from quantity separate.

Ran across a new account (SluggishSunset) in Under Judgment. As of this writing, they've got a default PFP/banner, and their sole upload is "Fauvist Cane", which I've also found on YouTube:

Its a user with 10 subs, three videos, and the video uploaded is the most recent one.

Impostors (or kids that upload stolen stuff) are more likely to go for more popular targets.
