Be glad you aren't alergic, or else it would have been much worse, I suggest throwing poison in the form of anything toxic to insects... Mow the lawn Rambo style, with spray cans in each pocket...

Seriously I agree with that you said about people voting without watching the whole submission but I still think that this kind of incident sort of renders the whole point blamming useless.

I'm glad you agree. In terms of rendering blamming useless, though, keep in mind this is a single flash out of over 300,000 flash entries. Consdiering how much the NG Admins exercise their right, the dozens (at most) of swayed entries are a mere 0.01% of all flash! If anything, the one flash was an example to be made, not a sign of mass-adminning to come.

Good point. Sometimes I take the Barracks for granted. I almost never post outside the Barracks on this BBS, simply because many places are just void of any intelligence. You'd be hard pressed to find me posting in any General thread, especially.

Like I said last time, I can only NG 1 hour per day during the long vocation thanks to my strict dad. >:( When the portal is slow, there is nothing that I can do. But still, surprisingly, I found out earlier today that my b/p rank moved up for 1 spot. But I am still praying to go back to school so that I can speed up. 3 more months in hell, I am so sad. :(

I'd say business as usual. Just vote fairly on each and every flash. It's a good day for points if you keep a cool head, just be wary of the Barney Bunch and other troublemakers.

Special tactics are not discussed here in the Portal for everyone to see. If I said special plans and whatnot here, wouldn't even on Newgrounds see it, defeating the purpose? Rather, post it in the Barracks Forums in the special forum made specifically for this purpose. It is obvious which one I am talking about. If you can't see it, make sure to talk to me.

I didn't even realize we came up to 10,000 posts so quickly! Quite amazing if you ask me! I probably won't be entertaining, though, as what I want to write is probably considered stupid by many. I hope you enjoy, though.

When I originally started the club, I had the idea that we would really be able to talk about whatever we wanted, just keeping the idea of the Elite Guard in mind and respecting those that have earned their ranks. Naturally, I didn't indend the club to be a Blam Club by any means, just a place where we could be Elite Guards.

Since then, the club's purpose has truly changed. We're strongly tied to the idea that every flash (no matter who submits it) should get a fair judgement, and everyone here does their best to give every flash the change it deserves. As recent events have shown, we are not the only ones that have such concerns, as the NG Admins have tried to make examples out of certain flash.

Mass-voters and those too apathetic about other peoples' work are truly a problem on Newgrounds, and I feel the Barracks is part of the answer. Every vote we make fairly is an unfair vote taken away from a mass-voter or anyone else. If we keep at our goal, we will eventually change Newgrounds for the better. Not only will our ranks grow and will we have more fair voters, but we will eventually sway away the power from mass-voters, having the general NG ranks follow us (simply because flash, even if mass-voted, won't be as likely to pass).

While this is a hefty goal, it is possible in the future. The likes of everyone here has helped towards this goal, and the time will come eventually that we will have changed Newgrounds for the better. I wish to thank everyone here for their dedication to the Barracks, as it's good to know I'm not the only idiot on Newgrounds that likes the Elite Guards as much as I do.

In an hour I'll be at my graduation for my college degree...it's interesting that my graduation day coincides with our 10,000th post. While they're in no way correlated, it represents change in two ways. I'll no longer be in school, and the Barracks has risen to a new level. I hope we can reach our goals and enjoy ourselves for another 10,000 posts and more to come. I know that I'm glad I have the opportunity to be here!

I didn't think it was very stupid. I remember back in November it was based on the Elite Guards, but it has changed since then. Also, your graduation, wow.
