This AI short film is roughly based on one of my old comics and is more of an experiment. An attempt to produce a movie with the currently available AI tools. When I realized that any interaction between characters with current AI-to-video generators was almost impossible and would take a lot of effort to accomplish, I decided to finish the short film earlier than planned, which is why there is very little physical interaction and the ending is very abrupt.
I may, if there is enough demand, illustrate my workflow for creating this movie. Enjoy.

Hold on and wait a second!
Why was my report dismissed?
An AI is doing most of the creative work here with the users prompts to tell it how to situate a character or things like that
this can't be a valid use of AI animation
I/we/you can't just write a lengthy paragraph of 30 minutes, spend 20 minutes researching how to get characters to interact, get told it is impossible and then decide to scrap that idea and put out a product that would take months to make in an afternoon
I said I loved it because of how blatant the rule violation was, this kind of thing would set a terrible president for animators
Audio visualizer. No animation.

Yeah, that's a bit concerning, especially since they're straight up admitting it in the description. It might be something you have to DM Tom/another senior staff member about.

There isn't a blanket ban on using AI in movies. The rules allow it, provided you put in some effort:
AI Animation
This will be an evolving area. If you are an artist who is using AI to assist you in your process, this is most likely fine. We will be removing things like AI slideshows, however. For example if you take an audio track and play it alongside static images generated by AI, that will likely be removed.
Our enforcement will be largely subjective as we get a handle on what cases are valid uses of AI and what cases are over-dependent on a computer doing the bulk of creative work.

Incorrect rating applied; this M-rated submission should really be rated A due to clearly visible naughty parts.

I have been regularly posting unsuitable submissions to the thread for just under a month now, and so I would again like to enquire about an entry into the ROTC. This is something I enjoy doing a lot, and so it would mean a lot to me to be able to join the Elite Guard Barracks.
I've noticed none of the senior officers have posted to the thread since I started posting, so I'm wondering if I will have to wait for one to be available before we can discuss this any further. Aside from that, thank you for having me here so far, and I shall be eagerly awaiting a reply!
Hello, Glitchbuddy.
Sorry about the delay in getting back to you - was a bit busy IRL these past few days, finally had time to get back to my emails and posts. Upon review of your account, I also think you would be a good candidate for the EGB ROTC program. I will confer with the other members of the Barracks to garner their opinions. I will get back to you in a few days with an answer (most likely yes, but we'll confirm that with the other senior members).
Thank you for your interest and your contributions - you will definitely be hearing back from me soon.
Regards,
EGSC byteslinger,
Chief Barracks Officer.

I had flagged this submission for using copyrighted audio (a little snippet at the end), but it seems to have stayed up. How come? Was the snippet too short?

Chill dude, it's been a long day for me irl. Remember that we're volunteers and have real jobs so we can't get to most flags immediately after you submit them.

I should have mentioned that I flagged the submission at the beginning of the day (~16 hours ago).

What's the rush? :p
I usually wait a day to see if my reports were dealt with, they almost always are.

There's no rush. From my experience, reports I make at the beginning of the day are usually dealt with by the end. But that does seem like a good rule of thumb, so I'll probably use that going forward.
