it's not too old, but we focus on the things that come up in the under judgment section
for things that are older than even a week it's preferred that you alone flag the item and skip posting about it in the EGB
its not pressing, its not something that would warrant you getting a text on your cellphone about:
attention! Newgrounds violation reported on the EGB, action requires your immediate attention, please see video (bla bla bla) posted (2 weeks ago)
even things like no animation, a submission that was rated E but should have been rated T, someone uploading a dull video update about how they added a shoe diagram to their upcoming game, a audio visualizer, or as another example a slideshow of AI art
there is nothing really pressing about these kinds of updates
things like these would be a good example of things that we would want to see posted about, talked about, and EGB frequenters looking into:
- stolen items where we as a group can collectively hunt down where the original upload comes from
- an adult animation rated as E or T
- a hate speech item where it looks like there is a developing attack from one group to another
- targeted harassment campaigns
- underage characters in bla bla bla adult situation
- other items posted at your discretion (would you send a text to a friend requesting their help to confirm a detail or fact about a movie or game before you yourself flag the item)
...
like things that we' should be aware of so that mods or members of our community can have a quick overview of the days events/postings and goings on's instead of logging in and seeing 17+ notifications

If I have to guess what would be considered too old, maybe something the lines of 2 years or older.
We don't post old things because a problem is that people (Sorta like me but probably with whistles lower than Gold.) think they can just report really old submissions and expect to get some whistle points over some old submissions. This is because NG changes and some rules weren't the same during the time the submission was made. For example, loads of submissions like Korn Killer or Scrotum 1 are basically edited mainly because back then, they could get away with using copyrighted music (I know that Korn Killer's a bit of an oddball but my point stands. Damn it I forgot to mention V-Tech Rampage but fuck it.). But technology evolved and basically later meant NG had to suck up lawsuits or turn that shit off. So of course NG had to turn it off, and when I mean "turn it off," I mean take the submissions down in accordance of possible DMCA violations unless these music were edited out. These are submissions that you can still access to this day, but you're going to hear the [LEGALLY BINDING MUSIC] version. Other places like YouTube aren't gonna fuck your video over copyrighted music.

I've done some digging and found some additional links for anyone to recite in their own reports going forwards in regards to this specific case.

- The Balak submission utilizes elements of The Train from the original creator's gumroad.
- Meanwhile Balak 2 uses material from both Maxine vs Goth Maxine Part 1 and Part 2. Again, off gumroad.
Also something to note is that Maxine's twitter has a linktr.ee posted for its website directory, and the Newgrounds account which uploaded the content in question is not listed within it. Curious that the culprit registered on Newgrounds within January of this year, but only is submitting stolen material now. There's also no other noted engagements whatsoever it seems... but alas, back on track now.

I’ve seen a similar case to this now in 2018 when I was in middle school I had to pick up my younger brother who was in grade 3 we picked them up from his classroom and they were in the middle of a cringey dance party of sorts they were playing in this really weird and cringey 3d animation from GoNoodle called cookie boogie and then a few years later when I was looking for bad animated movies on Apple TV I saw the trailer for another one hour long dance movie for preschoolers, and I noticed that one of the scenes had the same 3d gingerbread cookie characters from that other animation I was like what the hell and then I saw a bunch of other movies from the same developer. I was like there has to be a video on this thank God I found a sabrespark video on it guess what their name is nowwow animations they were a really shitty animation company that stole assets I’m curious if you can find other cases of that someone stealing 3-D animation to use it on their own or how about a case where someone was so lazy they decided you know what I’m going to use AI artwork and I’m gonna claim it as my own and I made it. I’m curious if you can scour this place and see if you can find something.
