People are less patient. We've always had the people who put time and effort into their creations and submitted something good or great, and then the other peeps who wanted to submit something good or great, but chose to go the easier route and supply less effort, and as such, submitted something that fell short. We all have the choice to do mediocre, or do good, or do great. We just have to choose to, and actually DO what's necessary. And, that's the hard part. It's hard to make something great. If it was easy, everyone would do it, and nothing would have any value, because everything's easy. You can tell who's been putting in effort in the gym and who isn't. You can tell who is reaping the rewards for the effort, and who's reaping the rewards (or consequenses) of not. As time goes on, people want more, faster, and when they don't see the results in a short time, they give up and we get a 10 second awesome that's incomplete, or a 30 second half-ass that gets the score it deserves. Can't change them, but you can choose for yourself. Hope for the best. Encourage to be better and to keep at it. But, wield the power of the blam when necessary.
Everyone also needs to participate in judgement voting. Not everything that is crap breaks da rules.
True on both points!
Maybe it's because people have high standards for quality?
Thank God for the ability to blam things off the site! If only more people understood the power of the almighty blam point.
Everything by Everyone does mean as you describe, but I don't remember ever going through 60 submissions under judgment and feeling wanting more.
There are a moderate percentage of I-didn't-try submissions. With all the easy-create software, people don't have the attention span to create the great animations that made Flash a star.
Many of them were 10 seconds or less and had almost nothing too them.
Kinda like sex. Um. Forget I said that. Move on.
the clock crew spamming the place.
Actually, we hated the spam and low quality, and warned of the days when low quality would be the norm. Well, guess what...

Guthrie is correct. Choose a category, but it is best to leave some sort of comment when flagging. Also, flagging is better than posting here. Tox was right that this is for discussions and not for flagging purposes. No points are earned for posting anything here. Gotta flag the items.
Sorry for the limited or late responses, peeps. Been super busy and typing time has been limited.
