Unless they deleted and remade their account, it seems odd that the account on NG is 3 days old and on YT is a week. I do remember the title card going back a bit, and I havent really been in the portal this week so it isnt super recent memory

2 because the club basically gives you a way to get better whistles, which is requires a LOT of submissions and a LOT of days to do so, since higher whistle status = the heavy the reports, and if it's heavily, then of course it wouldn't be easy to grab the Deity whistles. Even the site's wiki tells you that if you want to discuss questionable game and movies, you go to here. And while Deity whistles are worth a damn to get, assuming if a 2010 Flash doesn't have outdated information for 2023, it takes 30 hours to 60 hours to do so, assuming you do the 2-hour routine. But I'm pretty sure ways to shorten the grind for those whistles, like using bots to post and upload the same exact content that can be easily flagged, would arguably be dubious and at worst illegal.

for things like audio infringement, you don't need to post about in the EGB, its a low-level flag item and it gets handled in due time. for things like RL porn, incorrectly rated materials, stolen materials, general questions about movies or games, hate speech... then yeah post it here, when it doubt post about it and higher individuals in the EGB will let you know when to tone it back on certain flag items, (audio copyright being one of them)

we stick to English audio 90% of the time, I'm not going to flag materials that are in Mandarin or Russian, French, Spanish... because I don't speak those languages, yes I can use software to tell me that 2 songs are exactly the same, but I myself don't speak the language. how can I be certain that the song is exactly the same?

that being said, if you venture into the audio portal there are rules in there that are FAR FAR more extreme about content and ownership, the movies and games portal can get away with a lot when it comes to audio, in the audio portal it would be cut down and the user would likely get a permanent ban from being allowed to upload audio...

To be honest I'll agree here. Despite the fact there's a rule against it, there's this instinct to 0-vote anything that gets posted here that could be rule-breaking but that we aren't sure about.

There's no way I'm the first to think of this, but I'm starting to wonder if it's a good idea to have a club like this if this is what happens.

this may be a dumb question, but if a piece of art looks identical enough to have been ripped straight from elsewhere (like a network cartoon show) with no adulterance to it, i.e it looks like an original production cel, would that make it worthy of a report for stolen content? or should i just 0 it for being traced
