This list was of course originally created by the EGB and can be found in the forums. I took the original and updated it. I do think it needs to be ammended. That has been of course suggested due to the inactivity. I think at this point selecting new officers for the inactive positions would be the best way to go. As I said before, it is truely difficult to judge the need or lack there of for these positions left inactive. If we do not have a position running the way it was meant to there is no way to determine whether it should be discarded or not. So i do not think discarding positions is the right idea at this time, just reappointing.

I also do not think adding positions is the right idea either. I feel untill the current ones are filled by active members it is hardly the time to try and add new positions. Why add to the problem of enforcing the rules of activity. One step at a time in this situation is going to be best. I will have to do more research of course. I will need to delve deeper into what each position is, does, and represents. As I get farther into it, I may realize that there are those that can be done away with, and that there is a need to add. Like I said, getting current positions to active status is what I feel is most important at this point.

thats quite the task, turkeybean. your doing a great job so far, from what i can tell. it seems as though your efforts will substantially help the group and possibly be a big incentive for new members through recruiting. looking good.

You really think so? Honestly, I haven't given out positions in a while. I'm only considering the Mafia Laison tonight because the member in question was recommended by Lt. Col. Ghost_Phantom.

The big four, in my opinion everything else is just a branch off an already existing position.

While I agree that the "big four" is important, I think other support positions are necessary. If you are really concerned, I might even tier the officer positions. However, that might not even be that necessary, as we really know who are most important here.

Other positions are important, though, especially during certain times. Laison positions aren't really delegating too much power, but they're good for certain times and for keep up relations. Other positions like Portal Ops and Portal Violations are good for certain reasons. I honestly don't think the positions are out of hand. I will explain my stance later tonight once I return home.

At the time I wasn't sure if it was a good idea either, I only did it to try and bring some sort of solution to the whole TITROTU officer postion/inactivity thingy.

Good point. However, it should still be considered as a general guide and as something to springboard off of in tough positions. However, subjective judgement is always overruling.

The person responsible of that job was not fulfilling his duties, the long awkward process of knowing each other happened in the mafia which is why I trust him. He hasn't failed me yet.

i did notice this phenomenon reoccurring over the past two weeks or so (probably longer). chances are he just wants turd of the week over and over again. i guess its a coveted position amongst some, huh? how should this be handled? just ignore him for now but proceed with caution?

I've noticed this sir, it's like the third time I've seen him do it now... I don't particularly care for the Barney Bunch much. At least they're a little funny. Plus, I talked to Drew Pickles on Paltalk that one day Wade started up the whole Paltalk idea. HE CAN ACTUALLY SPEAK SENTENCES, HOLY CRAP. I was really surprised, considering that we never hear any coherent INTELLIGENCE out of the group.

It's hard to just jump in and get respect. I was lucky. I got there when the NGPD was new, as a PO, and worked my way up from there. Many members joined under my tenure as Operations Officer, so they got to know me and respect me. Which is why my ranking out caused turmoil for Rslegend (who himself ranked out a short while later), which luckily has passed for Tails

I plan to be around there to help now though, partially to make up for it, and also becasue I still have ties there. Is there anything you noticed in paticular?
