It is a ruffle submission with old-school interactive flash video buttons and episodic title cards but just plays a series of animated game footage. Like an itch I can not scratch or a shard of glass in my mind, I ponder the purpose of its creator.

you are half right... but there is a caveat to this, the speed painting is a depiction of a number of the frames in their animation...
I myself don't know how that will pan out, yes there is a section of speed paint and yes we double barrel speed paints when it comes to us watching a pure screen cap of a speed paint, but we have let slide in the past a number of items that had less and even more "speed painting" parts or sections than this presentation, if it was just the animation then the animation would probably pass the judgment section...
this style of rule-bending and animation is a tough one to call
my own flag and star rating represent the same kind of reservation to have this video removed
