It was way harder back in the day when I had to log onto my parents computer at home and get only MAYBE 30 a week.

its times like these that i find myself sending off a text to my dad to thank him for always encouraging the latest tech when it comes to home internet

So hopefully my woes of not having a desktop are over. My parts for my new PC arrive tomorrow and I’ll build my first PC. It’s amazing what the price difference is for a prebuilt against buying your own parts.
The prebuilt simply didn’t cut it even close. I upgraded from a 3070 to 3080, 16gb additional RAM, and 500 gb extra SSD, with a brand new mouse and keyboard for a whole $100 cheaper than I spent on a pre built. Pretty serious differences. I’ll build my own from now on.
