I don’t know if there are requirements but I’m happy to fill them if need be. Thanks in advance. Hope all is well.
Welcome back! It's been a long time, but as always, the standing rule at the Barracks is that any previous member who left in good terms is usually granted immediate reactivation, unless there are mitigating circumstances that make them ineligible.
In your case, you've spent 10 years serving in the Navy, and that is quite honorable. You've also endured a nightmare tragedy that we couldn't possibly imagine, and that darkness stains your soul forever. I know- I've been through a similar grinder, and the range of emotions, from guilt to anger, to loneliness and desperation, self-loathing, apathy and confusion is something that rocks you to your core.
But through that journey, you found the love of your life, a guiding light that restored your heart and gives you reason to wake up every day. I am truly glad for you in that respect, and I hope your life continues to be filled with love, happiness and prosperity. The dark chapters of your life can't be unwritten, but the story can still have a happy ending.
So, let's make this official:
OFFICIAL BARRACKS MEMORANDUM
TO: All EGB PERSONNEL
FROM: EGSC BYTESLINGER, CBO
DATE: 18-MAY-2022
SUBJECT: REACTIVATION OF EGP ANALPENGUINFARMING
As of today, EGP AnalPenguinFarming is now reactivated in the ranks of the Elite Guard. As a prior member who left in good standing, and then spent 10 years serving our country in the Navy, he is welcomed back with opened arms and heartfelt gratitude. All rights and privileges have been restored, and he is now considered fully active once more.
A lot has changed in the past 10 years, so go ahead, introduce yourself to him (public or PM) and help make him feel welcome back in the ranks.
Good to see you back, soldier - and welcome home!
*SALUTES*
