I also have a discussion item that I wanted to bring up
This has been a revolving idea and I even wanted to get @TomFulp 's eyes to wander over it
There has been what feels like consistent advertisement content that involves adult-rated pornographic titles being submitted to the website of late, and they usually follow the same mantra of look at this porn, hear the noises', click here to donate to my Patreon and you can see the full-blown video.
The question:
Newgrounds rule: Your submission must not simply be an advertisement.
Although these videos DO bring site foot traffic to Newgrounds, should we be treating these videos that are under a certain time frame as advertisements as they commonly follow the theme of:
"Short clip of character, this is just a taste, click here to go off-site and buy this product"
Below is a snippet of what I am referencing, there seems to be a consistent and reoccurring theme behind these
These are ONLY selected in the last 2 days based on their inclusion of a Patreon link

I am bringing up this idea because:
I wanted to know the thoughts of others and especially from the administration team on the direction that they want Newgrounds to take on this, is it something that brings needed foot traffic to the website?
Is it something that we should turn a blind eye to?
Does it even matter?
For me, it does not follow the character and soul of the website, "Newgrounds, Everything by Everyone" the idea of the slogan still points to a contained and intrinsic feedback network where the site falls back into itself and re-directs to the content provided within. This is the reason why we have rules like:
You must be the creator and owner of the content you are submitting.
You must credit and have rights to the music in your submission.
Your submission must not be a modified version of someone else's work.
Your submission must not simply be an advertisement.
Do not submit copyrighted video clips or photographs you did not create.
Do not submit Let's Play videos or anything that primarily depends on recorded video game footage.
Each of these follows the idea of "The creator, uploads the created. Welcome to the world of Newgrounds"
The above adult-rated videos do not follow the intended or manifest soul of this idea, they simply create an avenue to lead off-site and take the revenue of the viewer, the most basic and mathematical version of an advertisement.
