I've been active in the portal for the first time in years over the last week or so. Assuming this urge continues for a while I have a few questions:
1) When I was last active we could go days without a submission being blammed (~2014). What changed? It seems a reasonable percentage get blammed now.
2) What is with all the short animated porn loops? They are high quality but such low effort... I am tending to 0 as I do for most short loops, but are they legit submissions or should they be flagged?
3) How fast are flagged submissions being removed these days- before or after judgement? Am I better off continuing to hit 0 on anything dodgy in the hope they get blammed first?
I'll try to keep my eye on this club to stay in the loop and 'get my eye back in'

Things do sometimes take time to get thru Judgement, but vote away. That's what it takes.

I always vote 0 even tho I know they might pass. Occasionally, things do actually get blammed, even when they're porn.

Which is fine. If we remove everything, first, it takes away the voice of the community and we become censors instead of mods, but second, if we leave it a bit longer so it blams, you get blam points. If we remove it, you don't get any blam points, so blam is better than removal. :)

I have a bit more context in addition to what others have said for this one. Back in December of 2018, tumblr banned nearly all porn on their platform. A huge number of content creators hosted their entire portfolios on that site and it was going to be deleted with very short notice. Lots of those creators migrated to Newgrounds and we got a huge influx of regular submitters to the portal because of it. Many of those earlier submissions were pretty high quality and have continued on to regularly submit here. IMO, most of them either belong in the art portal or a different site, but I have to say it was really cool to see a totally new generation of users embrace Newgrounds.
