Barracks Roster as of June 1st, 2021:
Good day, all! And, in fact, it IS a good day! The weather is warming up, the days are longer, the trees are full, the birds are singing, and life is slowly getting back to normal. Over the past few months my family and I have taken the Covid vaccinations, and are now getting together in our back yards and homes for meals and conversation, sans masks. We had about 10 or so folks (all vaccinated and healthy) together on Monday, and it felt ... normal! We're still playing it safe in public, but compared to a year ago, this was quite a welcome change. I hope that this "return to normal" continues to grow, and that one way or another, we finally get past this pandemic and reclaim the lives we had. I know that there's a dark side to this, that so many loved ones were lost and so many folks sacrificed so much to get us here. To honor them, we will keep them in our memories, and live life to the fullest , so that their passing was not in vain. We never know what tomorrow will bring, so, for today, let's enjoy what we have, be a little kinder and a little more patient, and, to steal a quote from one of my favorite movies, "Be excellent to each other".
Now, back to the barracks...
It is evident that EGSC @Guthrie is, in fact, an android from the future that needs no sleep and is relentless in his activities. Besides logging a staggering 3,600+ B/P points last month, he was extremely active in the forums and managed to work himself up to Rank #2 in the roster, skating by EGSC @Gamejunkie with no evidence of slowing down. If he changes his forum banner to "Come with me if you want to live", we'll know why. Well done, soldier! *Salutes*
Speaking of EGSC Gamejunkie, it's good to see you active again. We know you were away for a while, and we're glad to see you back and online once more. Hope everything is good with you IRL. Welcome back! *Salutes*

I have also noticed an uptick in a lot of non-member activity here in the forum, and that's great! So many good folks helping out, bringing questionable submissions to our attention, asking questions and making our lives a little easier. It's great to see that this thread is active, vibrant and making a difference, for which I am very grateful.
