Krev, you're a sight for sore eyes! Haven't heard from you in...too long. I've missed you quite a bit - so good to see you again in the forums! A lot has changed around here, but we're still going strong. Not as many members as when you were active, but those that are here are great folks who really do the EGB proud.

I used to have a Facebook account, but when I refused to give them my real name/address for registration, they got pissy - no more anonymous accounts - and shut me down. So I just use Newgrounds forums and PMs to keep in touch here; occasionally, we'll do email (I have a generic Yahoo account for that).

As for the EGB, EagleRock and all of the other commanders slowly faded into the sunset, leaving me as the senior officer. I became CBO, and then offered command positions to those members who showed exemplary leadership skills, filling in all the open slots. The EGB website was updated, we added an ROTC program (to pick up the slack of the unfortunately defunct NGPD), and cleaned things up a bit to keep it interesting.

Hope you decide to stick around for a while - so much to talk about! Either way, we're always glad to have you back. And if you think you'll be spending enough time here, we can always reactivate your position!

Yeah, blamming is unrelated to whistles. The only thing that will affect your whistle are flags. Blamming is a matter of personal opinion and, as such, bears no penalty if the submission doesn't end up blammed. Similarly, no penalty if you vote to save something that ends up blammed. Just vote honestly and you won't have any problems. Blams and protects affect rank, flags affect whistle. If you're unsure about flagging something, ask here or reach out to a mod.

Blamming affects your B/P rank and numbers, and there's no penalty for being wrong. Flagging ads, tho. Yeah, go for it. :)

There are schools in like Norway or somewhere that have the students submit their games (crappy templates/tests) to Newgrounds. Tom allows them, but they are often barely playable templates and such, so vote appropriately. Y0ur v0te is yours to use as y0u please.

May was a busy month for me. Spring took its sweet time showing up, and when it did, it flooded my region out pretty severely. Once the waters receded, we were met with an onslaught of mosquitoes.

In the Barracks, @ZJ has moved into the Sergeant Major's billet. I hope he'll do a nice job of inspecting the most recent recruit @ZomAlien.

Our Chief Barracks Officer EGSC @Byteslinger hit an impressive 140K Saves this past month (#6 overall for all users for saves, #8 overall for B/P combined). @Jackho also hit a cool 15K saves, which by that stat alone would put him halfway to EGSC.

@GUTHRIE continues to hold the Barracks lead for B/P this month with over 1100 points. He also has been on the top 5 gainers for a full two years now!
