Just curious how people approach this one:
It's fairly common to find stolen submissions on newer accounts (give or take a few that slip through the cracks and keep going over long periods of time).
Some recent accounts/submissions have raised my spidey sense, but don't have enough for me to say 100% that the content is stolen. The username matches, websites are credited, all that jazz. But some of it still feels off, as the submission is an older project (6+ months) and seems a bit late to the NG party.
On that, does anyone try reaching out to the originator on Twitter/etc to see if they were the ones who submitted? I generally like knowing for sure before hitting the flag, to not make more legwork for the mods.

I know writing credit to the author (in this case by citing the song and author) is not great of a legal defence, but the Undertale music falls under fair use (as per the Undertale blog). Undertale's creator (Toby Fox) detailed out a pretty generous use policy for all his IP, the summary of which is "as long as it doesn't impede on the Undertale brand or finances, sure why not".
As for the 3 seconds of Queen's "We are the Champions"...I guess? The "X second copyright rule" is not a real thing.
The lesson learned by the submitter was that they used NG Audio Portal music, credited, on the second submission.
