It loads for me so the problem is probably on your end. If you're using chrome, that's the issue. Try opening it up in firefox instead (and make sure it's not blocking unity).

By the way, the reason why you haven't seen me on FB lately is that they closed my account - you no longer can have anonymous accounts, and I am not giving them my real name or any other information. However, I am reconsidering creating another account that, although fictitious, will look like a real person. So, if you anyone out there gets a friend request from Regis Bently, that's me! (which, for those of you who are sharp eyed, is an anagram of byteslinger).
Things have been quiet here - not to many new names recently, but the crew we have work hard to keep the portal clean. They're good folks, and an honor to work with here in the EGB..
All of the high command (Coop, Phantom, Eagle, etc) have been AWOL for years, leaving me to run the place. It's nice to be the leader, but I do miss them. Have gotten a few cameos from Lizzardis , PorkChop and a few others here and there, but as life goes, they have all moved on to real relationships, jobs and even kids.
Anyways, welcome back - you gonna stick around for a while this time?

I'll just give a short synopsis of my life since August 2011 up til now and a more in-depth on my personal page at a later point.
Sept 2011- June 2012: Working as a 3rd shift grocery stock clerk
June 2012: Moved to Saddle Brook, NJ to live with my then girlfriend
June 2012 - 12/31/2012: trying to find work
1/1/2013- Mother's Day 2013: working at Whole Foods in Paramus, ultimately got fired over stupid bullshit
Mother's Day 2013- Mid-Sept. 2013: trying to find more work, found out how get a security officer license and started looking into security gigs
Sept 2013 - Dec 2013: worked two jobs, one as a Stocker/Small Pet Car Associate at the PetSmart in Paramus. I was a seasonal employee. The other was at the NA BMW HQ in Northvale, NJ. It was only a temporary job. They only needed someone to guard a door until it was fixed.
Jan 2014 - Oct. 2015: working at another security firm, the office is total bullshit, it needs a major restructuring, had crzy hours, I was working at a Western Union for a short while at the start of 2014, then that went belly-up. Then I was working nights again at another spot in Union, NJ. That went belly-up over some bullshit in late 2014. Proposed to my girlfriend on
10/11/2014. Was going to a Food distribution warehouse much closer to me in March 2015 and was there for a long while until I was moved from there a few months ago. I started going to an old water company HQ building in the summer of 2015 and all the while my then fiancee and I were planning the wedding for 10/24/15. Took some time off in October, I was under the impression I had paid time off. NOPE! They screwed me over on that.
Oct. 2015 - Sept 21, 2016 was going to a place in Pompton Lakes, NJ for a while. Total shitshow for a shift. Fucking sucked, especially in the winter. January 16th and 17th last year when NJ had THE ENTIRE WINTER SEASON IN ONE FUCKING WEEKEND, they tried calling me DURING THE BLIZZARD to go the water company place. I COULD NOT LEAVE IF I WANTED TO. THERE WAS A STATE OF EMERGENCY IN PLACE! THAT MEANS STAY HOME! DO NOT GO ANYWHERE! They offered to pick me up, they would've gotten stuck as well. Thankfully I didn't go. Started going back to school for the Spring Semester last year. Grades are excellent. Started going back to the same place water company over the summer and fall. Had to go to their treatment plant a few times during the early spring and summer though. Not too bad.

Gets great mileage on the highway(though thanks to my job, I'm in my car for 8 hours. Last year, i.e. 2015, I got an earful from my office saying we were using too much gas. So I figured I'm better off using my own gas and not having to hear bullshit from the office. Also, I was back on nights for a little while in the summer of 2015.)
Took two summer courses last year. Had a hard time in the fall semester because I was juggling an internship, and 6 class credits. I had to withdraw from Criminology class because there was no way in hell I was gonna pass that class with a 20 page paper to do WHEN WE WERE ALREADY HALFWAY THROUGH THE SEMESTER. Juggling 9 credits plus a job where I don't have access to internet or a laptop so I can write a 20 page paper!? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPE! That was too much. So I'll have to take that course again this coming fall.
Spring looks to be a little easier. A Communications class and intro to theology. Should'nt be too hard. Summer, my wife and I are getting out of this tinyass apartment and moving into her parents house, but it's a two family home. It'll be fully renovated too.
So yea, that's been my life since August 2011.

I had a tour of the NJ state ballistics lab...........................................OMG! IT TOOK EVERYTHING I HAD NOT TO START NERDING OUT ALL OVER THE PLACE! SHIT WAS SOOOO FUCKING COOL! That's where I want to end up, but to get there, I need to go through 17 weeks training with the ATF in D.C. Kinda hard to do that when you live in NJ. -_- I'm gonna try and get an internship there over the summer and if it bleeds into the fall, so be it.

It happened May 14, 2016, a week after I graduated college. Funny, he had been talking about "why worry about fixing you up a car? I'm gonna leave ya something, you know?" Well, that night, around 2 in the morning, I was sitting, talking to a friend on the phone, when I got this sudden uncontrollable urge to dance and sing, and I did... for an hour and a half, after which I collapsed, exhaused. I woke the next morning around 7 and knew he was gone. My uncle came down the stairs, handed me his phone, and the nurse on the other end said "I'm sorry", but before she could finish, I said, "He's gone, isn't he?"
The rest of the day was a pile of shit, with people I didn't want to call me on the other end of a phone line, screaming, and wishing I didn't have to plan a funeral that I knew he wouldn't want, because his sisters would just tack it onto the debt he owned them -- debt they expect me to pay. They'd already screwed him out of his entire inheritance.
It hasn't been a fun time, and I think I'm going a little crazy, because I swear I still hear his voice. I was so very close to him.
