Well, you look like you're off to a good start, but before you get in neck deep, I'd say just immerse yourself in upcoming content -- don't obsess, of course, because that's a good way to burn out. Vote honestly, fairly, and if you see something stolen in the flash portal, or something that otherwise breaks the rules, link here with some evidence. It could be something as simple as seeing the content on YouTube years ago and knowing whoever uploaded it here isn't the original creator.
Traditionally, the EGB was made up of those who ascended past the civilian and police type B/P ranks, who not only competed against one another in portal activity but also reported stolen games/movies and made an effort to vote fairly, to combat spam and malicious flash without breaking the rules as a strict "blam club" would.
A point to be made is, if you're reporting abusive reviews, the last thread that did that was nixed by mods because people abused it for whistle points. Most people share spotted abusive reviews via mail or news post groups now because there simply are no regulations on news/PM minus not doing stuff that explicitly breaks NG rules, such as real life nudity, harassment, etc.
It will take a while to get into the "Elite Guard" ranks, but nothing's stopping you from helping out in the meantime. We have plenty of helpful users who spot abusive submissions in the portal and report them here, as you can see.
If you're interested in keeping up with the Portal, you can download the time-tested Portal Guard scanner. I've been using it since it came out. Great stuff if you have free time and not much to do. It's especially helpful for those who were previously relegated to refreshing the portal every five minutes in case they might miss a submission, like I used to do before I found out about it. OCD, ya know. :P

I'm glad to see that people are still interesting in joining the EGB.
Anyways, to be able to request to join, you need to have at least a silver whistle and be of Private status in terms of Blam/Protect points. Having a decent amount of posts and reviews helps, too, and those are possibly mandatory. It's never been crystal clear as far as I've seen. The only parts that are no question mandatory are the silver whistle and Private Status.
You have a lot of work to do, but I hope this info doesn't discourage you! We could use some new blood. I hope you stay determined and work hard so you can request to join someday!
In the meantime, you're free to post anything here that you find to be rule-breaking. Or if you have a question whether or not a submission is rule-breaking, post it in here and one of us will come along to help you out.
If you still have questions, don't be afraid to ask me.

It binds up occasionally. I lowered the quality by going back to the main menu and adjusting it there. it helped a bit. The larger ones kept killing me, tho. All of a sudden, I was surrounded, pretty much, so yeah, bad AI. As for the link, they could have this on other sites. It does seem to work, tho, and unless it turns up as stolen, then I guess it's alright. Doesn't work on XP, but worked on W7.

Mind you, my internet is fast enough to stream a couple videos on YouTube simultaneously in 1080p pretty well. Clicking this logo a few times = popups to a shovelware game site. Second opinion?

Enagames' most recent account. You'd think that he'd eventually tire of having his submissions removed literally within minutes of being submitted, yet he doesn't. he submitted 2 per day on his enagames account, and we'd remove them. We finally deleted his account, and yet, he still comes back under a new name and keeps submitting. They get ad revenue off large numbers of views or plays, but if we remove it within 50 or less views, what's the point of continuing? :\

Do not re-submit your entry after it has been BLAMMED without making noticeable improvements.
