First off, you are always welcome here if your intention is to help us keep the portal clean and free from rule-breaking material. With the passing of the NGPD a few years back, we've loosened up a little bit to keep users interested in the EGB.
We still have our standards, and as others have pointed out, one of which is a silver whistle. Years ago, you could go from normal to silver in about a day or so of accurate and helpful whistling on submissions; now, the only thing you can really work on are reviews to submissions themselves. It does require a little more patience and understanding to properly judge a submission as improper, and bad calls can set you back really fast. But it can be done, and it is part of keeping Newgrounds clean.
Also, you need to have total BP of 2,500 or more (Private). You are well on your way there; your blam/save ratio is about 1:4, which is actually better than the average of 1:6 based on coarse daily statistics - keep up the good work! Most of your reviews are helpful, with an occasional one-liner tossed in here and there, but nothing detrimental.
Overall, you would have been a perfect candidate for the NGPD; if you continue your good work and efforts, you'll be ranked up to Private (with a silver whistle) in no time, and if you're still interested then, we'll submit you for admission.

Finally, summer is here - now all of us geeks have a reason to hide inside and stay away from the huge glowing ball of hydrogen fusion that turns our skin red and hurts our eyes. I'll take this over snow and cold any day, so I can't complain.
2016 is now 50% complete - it's amazing how time flies when you're having fun. I'm still having fun here - in my 11th year in Newgrounds - and I really wouldn't know what to do without it - and without all of the fine folks here in the barracks. I've seen many come and many go - and many hang in there for a long time. This place really is like my "other family" to me - we are all unique (and sometimes a bit crazy and twisted), caring, concerned about the greater good, and have positive many qualities that we share. This place may not be the same as it was a decade ago, but it is what we make it - and I am honored to share the barracks with the dedicated men and women (yes, Lexhergon, there are "girls" in the barracks, including DeftonesFan665, BenwaHaubi, EDM364, Little-Rena and yours truly) who make this place great.
Speaking of great woman, I am happy to announce that EDM364 has been promoted to Sergeant - well done! *Salutes*

As an ex NGPD member it's sad when you hear about people who would have joined if the place was still active. It was a good thread with a friendly bunch that I miss pretty much every time I log on. @TailsPrower is still hanging around though.

If you keep at it you'll be suprised how quickly your Police Officer rank turns into a Private. The portal is pretty active at the moment and the number of blams seems to have gone up too so I wouldn't worry about the ratio.

I'm still having fun here - in my 11th year in Newgrounds - and I really wouldn't know what to do without it - and without all of the fine folks here in the barracks.
What a touching paragraph. I too feel that Newgrounds has become somewhat of an integral part of my life, it's part of my routine. Everyday I'll watch things on the portal and then lurk in the forums to see if anything has cropped up in my usual haunts, so to speak.
I'm not sure what I'll do when it comes time to leave.

Oh, heaven's no - no offense was ever taken! I just wanted to make sure you knew that there were some womenfolk present in the forums, and that here in the Barracks, all are welcome. It's actually quite an eclectic mix - and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Also for your reference I am a He. I am FtM if it matters to anyone. As much as I have changed my profile and don't really like talking abt it the past is the past and my NG account is from a long time ago before I knew that being true to myself was an option. I'd prefer to just be treated like a regular guy and not make a big deal out of it.
