Heh, well I do remember both. In either case. I went and searched out the posts. Just turns out I'd mixed up some names for a second. :P That was a good chuckle. I needed it.

I was buster1 until sometime in 2007! So yes I did at one point ! I'd be quite happy to help in some of my free time again :)

Oh god, back around that time I was..how would you say...childish ? I was about 14 and just trolling the forums haha ! Your name looks oddly familiar as well, but I can't be sure as time speaks for itself. Don't remember a whole lot from 9 years ago on the old NG. Man does the portal seem slow, how long has it been like this ?

Since you were previously a member in good standing and out on leave, and after a cursory review you still are qualified (and then some) to be a member, I see no reason to deny re-instatement to active duty. As the Barracks roster manager, recruitment officer and currently acting commander-in-charge (just keeping the seat warm until EagleRock gets back online) I will gladly affirm your reactivation and add you back to the current roster.

Eh, I wasn't much better! I was in the 7th grade! I used to be Andrea364. That may be the name you're looking for!

The portal slowed down right after NG implemented the 1 vote per user per submission lifetime we have now. Supposedly it was to cut down on zero-bombers by discouraging them from returning, but I think it just made their lives easier for not having to come back and bomb to combat others voting fairly on the submissions with smaller vote pools. Sometimes a submission will hang around for a week or more in UJ now.

Speaking of which... EagleRock has been MIA for quite some time now. Years, last time I checked. I also heard there was some issues regarding SilentCobra, remember him? Eagle and Cobra didn't see eye to eye about something, so it became messy.

It's a shame. We were all so close once upon a time...

Well, look who's back for a visit! Wow...it's been...too long. Yeah, you're right, things are much quieter here, and a lot of the old regulars seemed to have fallen off the face of the Earth. I know EagleRock is still around IRL, but a lot has happened (some good, some not so much) in his life that has taken priority over this place. There was a falling out (among other things) with SlntCobra1 and it didn't end well at all. It's hard, because I am/was friends with both, and it was a very convoluted set of problems and circumstances with no clear winner. I am not at liberty to divulge any details, but suffice it to say I don't think either of them will be back here any time soon...well, maybe EagleRock, but definitely not Cobra.

So, what have you been up to? Have you finished Uni yet? Still have that lovely girlfriend? Oh, our little Lizzy is all grown up now! Do you think you'll be dropping by more often, or was this just a quick cameo? I definitely could use some good help around here - and definitely a few more laughs!
