You were rudely told no? I doubt that. The only person with the authority to flat out reject you is byteslinger (and EagleRock I suppose) and I didn't see that in the first few pages of her post history.
Beside that one of the main rules to join the EGB is that you mustn't have a lot of one liner posts on the BBS, and you do. I don't think that's an unreasonable rule at all.
I don't think complaining about being rejected is really the ideal EGB attitude. You should instead work upon improving whatever was the reasoning you were allegedly rejected for. I think you should work on your post and review length and then reapply. (and again, you've not been rejected unless byteslinger says you have been)

There was a post asking for ideals to help find new faces. I was only trying to help. You could of ignored my post or at least thanked my for my input.

Look, all I was doing was trying to point out part of what we consider when voting on new members to join. The EGB isn't just a thread for reporting rule-breaking submissions. You need to do more than that to be accepted, there's certain requirements you should meet. I was just trying to suggest what you work on before you reapply, because those things are taken into consideration in the voting process.

Gentlemen, let's not get twisted over this. I do remember when DS petitioned for admittance - it was a split decision, and although his heart was in the right place, there were some issues with one-liners and replies that put him on the fence. If I came across as rude when I pass on the declination to join, I do apologize. I do not, for one moment, think that he is a "bad" person - in fact, he is quite helpful at times. He just wasn't quite ready to be admitted into the barracks.
As to Jolly's point, we do try to maintain a high standard here, and we are all held accountable for our actions, reviews and posts in Newgrounds. That is part of our manifesto. We all need to lead by example and be the best. That is why we are the "Elite" guards.
What has hurt us was the closing of the NGPD. It was there that many of our members started in life, learning all the good habits we need to keep the portal running smoothly and fairly. It was a good place to get together and fight the good fight; and when they reached "private" rank, if they were so inclined, they applied to the EGB - and most of the time, admitted.
With the NGPD closed, there is no more apprenticeship, guidance or direction for new members - and no path for them to follow later in their life here. I had kicked around the idea of adding an apprentice program to the EGB, but it's still under advisement.
Hopefully, this clears things up a bit. We don't need to fight among ourselves - we have to stay united and fight what really matters - and that's all the crud coming into the portal.

You know, it really wouldn't take too much effort to just not remove these, and just collaborate to get a whole load of people with high vote power to vote zero on two of them to get them a portal ban. Of course, this would probably fall foul of some NG rule, as opposed to uploading fourteen crap games a week, which is fine
