Heads up - games like this are ok because they are a variation on the Flappy Bird theme / using it for a different purpose. The only Flappy Bird games that should be removed are the direct clones that are just trying to be a web version of the app.

Okay, thanks for the notification, Tom.

In my honest opinion, this place has gotten a little too dry and reductionist with it being turned into little more than a bulletin board for portal mods, so it's nice (in a warped kind of way) to see the effects of things like this. It brings back awesome memories of when bans were rare and people got shocked at them more easily. And also of all the fights between the EGB and spam groups too. I almost miss idiots like the DD sometimes... but there's no way they'd ever get the attention they used to anymore, so I suppose those times are over now. Oh well.
Keyword there being: "almost"!

Just Google search 'The Right Mix'. This game is downloadable from a large number of game sites. It certainly wasn't made by the submitter.

Taken care of, thanks for the report :)
Lip-synching by a shirtless kid to the Pokemon theme. Yup.
EDIT: To make it clear, YouTube content.
EDIT 2: Check the guy's audio too. There's that Numa Numa song.
Like the credits say, there is footage from Snatch and Scarface.

And again, this time Napoleon Dynamite and The Matrix.
Now I'm not sure if the following is actually a genuine concern, or if my witchhunting senses are too sensitive and I'm jumping at shadows. What I'm talking about is this game by Glitchless:
There's nothing wrong with the game itself - it seems to be a usual browser mmorpg. What surprised me were the comments: The five most recent ones were all very short with mostly little content, contained high praise, and , most startingly, some were already considered ‘helpful’ despite being so young. This could just be a sign of a very good game, I thought, or perhaps the last five reviewer were just fans who didn't feel like writing much. I decided to look further.
1) I went through all fifty reviews the game has gotten so far. The picture remained the same: Nearly all of them were very short, kind of repetitive and gave 5 stars. Of course, there were some longer reviews here or there, but most of them very contained little more than praise.
2) I looked at who wrote those comments. By my count, out of 50 reviewers, 47 had created their accounts the very same day or the day before. Their profiles were empty save for some favouriting Nodatis and one putting Nodatis in a list titles ‘list’.
3) All positive comments were voted to be ‘helpful’. I do often see one-word reviews considered ‘helpful’, but having like 46/50 that way? That seems weird.
4) Another thing I noticed was, that the score of the game was noticeably lower than the score reviewers gave it. Usually, those who have grievances with the game tend to review it, so I'm used to the reviews giving slightly fewer stars than the game has over-all. Here, the game has 3.5 stars over-all and the reviews nearly unanimously give 5 stars.
This is the summary of why I think there is a certain probability of fake reviews. This is far from certain, however. Most of the longer comments mention that they are old players. Therefore, chances are good that the player-base found out their beloved game came to newgrounds and decided do get an account and vote on it. In any case, I had fun thinking about this. If this is not the right place to talk about this, sorry. (I'm still not sure what this place is even about. It seems to have started as a general discussion and turned into people pointing out rule-breaking games. Hopefully, it fits either way.)
Basically noise spam.

To add to what you noticed, I went on some of those accounts that left reviews and they all have that game added to their favorites. It's also the only game they have favorited. A mod really needs to check this out because I'm with you about this being a concern.

Seems indeed quite fishy. Not sure what should be done - it seems like there is no abuse on the voting side but the reviews give the impression of being rigged which will potentially result in this game getting the Review Crew Pick award possibly unrightfully. I think it is up to the review mods to decide on this one, I would especially like to see the imput from @SCTE3 on the matter since she is both a portal and review mod.
At 9/27/14 11:11 AM, SCTE3 wrote: Looked at a few accounts, legit what is being said. However, before I remove start removing the reviews (to prevent mass review upvoting to steal an award), I at least want an input from @WadeFulp, @BrenTheMan, or @TomFulp in regards to this one. Accounts don't seem to related or alts of each other. Seems like possible shovelware voting accounts.
Is there any way to differentiate between them being fans of the game who made a Newgrounds account because they genuinely love the game and want to promote it, and them being fake accounts? I still think there is a good chance they talked about this on their own forum or wrote something akin to “We are now spreading to Newgrounds. Here's a link, if you like the game feel free to make an account and write a review so many more can enjoy the game with you!” in a blog post. Just exploring possibilities here, but I would hate to cause trouble for a content creator just because their fans love them so much that it looks suspicious.

I'm glad it turned out to be nothing. The only question left is: Are people allowed to ‘bribe’ their followers into voting better than they would normally? Obviously they like the game, otherwise they wouldn't care, but “You will get extra items if the game gets enough good votes” seems like a recipe for people blindly voting five stars en masse, regardless of whether they think it only deserves 3 or 4, thereby subverting the voting system.
In any case, I hope this expansion goes well for them. They clearly provide fun for many.
