2014 is officially at the halfway point - time sure flies when you're having fun. Looks like things are picking up here in the Barracks - lots of flash elimination by our resident sharpshooters, and even some minor activity from some members who we haven't seen in a while. Gotta love summer vacation!
However, I curse the fact that I need to replace my air conditioner in my office. The old one - and it was very old - literally overheated and caught fire so I pushed it out of the window. It destroyed some flowers and a wooden bench, as any large, heavy box dropped from the second floor would be prone to do. Just have a window fan now - and no, this old Connecticutt house can't be retrofitted (affordably) with central air.
Just what you want envision - yours truly in a hot room, sweat dribbling down her back (and other places) while sitting half-dressed in front of her rig, trying to get work done. Oh, yeah, a sight to behold indeed...
