Why thank you. Hope I won't look like a tag along or one of those guys trying to squeeze into a group just nodding his head as if somewhat acknowledging whats going on....but thank you.
My rules of B/P.
1). Never bother to even look at the title. You will notice if it's good or bad any way, only if it is very good you can look at the title. If you look at the title early it makes it much more personal and hard to blam
2). Stick by your principles... If you hate a certain genre and a famous author submits one, don't be scared to stick up by your principles and as meaningless as it may be, vote as you usually would.
3). Size. First time huge submissions will usually be uncompressed audio or video, usually better to blam. First time small submissions are just as poor. Scale
0.1 KB to 1 MG= rather small, lower half of it tends to suck.
1 MG to 3 MG= average submission for good author, usually hard to decide fast, best to watch.
3 MG to 5 MG= here it all depends on how many flashes the person has before. it can be very good or very bad pending on that alone, still best to watch when in doubt.
5 MG= manually submitted by Tom, Has to be good!
Thieves- usually a good flash as a first submission will be stolen, some time it's very clear and some times not... again this depends on user, if the submitter has a low profile and didn't bother to do anything in NG it is more likely to be stolen more than something suspicious by a higher level user... for say level 9 with around officer B/P and so...
Just how to vote- 0- when you feel like hanging the authors head on your wall,
1- when you just don't like it for any reason
2- good enough to be on NG but not by much
3- pretty good, nothing amazing
4- very nice but needs work
5- your jaw snaps off as you watch it.
If you need any more help tell me ( those were my systems in B/P whether people fully agree or not, it works... )
