I'm really enjoying doing reviews again okay I did only 1 but its really nice when people mark your review as helpful. I would like to get to 800 reviews it would take me a little time as I have 736 as the moment. Looking forward to Madness Day its its on 22nd of September end of the month. Isn't that self-contradictory? Because the first line tells me that you should vote fairly if you want to be, or stay in the Barracks but then just a few lines below it states that we're not being forced to.

From the EGB Manifesto:
"We do not tell anyone how to vote, no matter what.
The closest the Barracks will ever get to telling someone how to vote is telling them to vote what they feel the flash deserves. A flash may be given anything from 0 to 5 by different voters, and they should be able to vote what they feel is right and fair without criticism from others."
It is a little self-contradictory, but not really. The not telling people how to vote part means that the EGB members won't ever tell anyone to give any flash a specific score.

No, it's not. We are stressing that every Barracks member should vote fairly (even though 'fair' is subjective) - we do NOT force a vote up or down, nor do we recommend saving or blamming any specific piece of work. We are only enforcing the 'vote fair' requirement - in other words, we don't tolerate group votes or voting on a flash just to get Protect points. We need to lead by example - we are all educated individuals, and know right from wrong . Flashes or reviews that are blatently breaking the website rules need to be identified and handled accordingly. Obvious rule-breaking entities need to be dealt with accordingly.
Hope this explains things a bit - give us a few days to get a quorum of votes through, and we'll let you know sooner than later.
Until then, keep fighting the good fight - see you at the front line.

I know you mean well, so I'll try to make my point without being too much of a jerk:
If you feel that there are abusive reviews that need to be handled, they should be discussed on the PRIVATE EGB forum - and you need to contact SlntCobra1 (our current Portal Violations officer) privately as well.
We DO NOT annotate abusive reviews on this forum, as it will begin to look like "Rage's Thread for Abusive Reviews" - which is now closed and forbidden to ever re-open again. It caused a lot of grief with management as many people were whistling borderline reviews - or reviews that weren't abusive. It became an administration nightmare, and many users wound up with garbage whistles.
In the future, please post your findings on the EGB site, and definitely keep SlntCobra1 informed.

It's very easy to find Super Mario Bros speed runs on YouTube, and Newgrounds isn't the place for this anyway.
That flash was well know on YouTube how dumb to try to steal it. I sent a list of stolen flashes to Tom Fulp I got a reply and they were removed. However I'm always on the look out on the portal. Madness Day on 22nd of September looking forward to it, and hopefully more submissions. Madness day is more poplar right? I have done one more reviews this flash is really funny, I love watching funny flashes.

Actually, I remember someone recolored Leo & Satan a few months back, and submitted it as "Leo & Blue Satan" or something like that. Probably one of the most amusing thefts out there, and you don't see it often.
Unless it's a recolored Madness Interactive, those were pretty common for a while. I'm glad we don't see any more of those massive turds.
What do Madness Interactive "Mods" count as, anyway? Half of them don't work, and none ever have sound, yet they pass. I wonder what goes through the minds of whoever is voting on them.

I think some people blindly vote 5 on madness submissions. I vote 0 on almost every madness submission I see... I don't understand why the madness series is so popular. All it is is mindless violence.

Hey guys, I just wanted to kind of check in and tell you all that I probably won't be here much but I'm still going to try my best to vote on as many flashes I see in the portal honestly. College makes me busier than I thought so I won't be able to come here much. But I got Portal Guard (if anyone here doesn't have that get it now) and I just realized how awesome it is. Keep up the good work guys and I'll try my best to help out. It's nice to see that you're all finding stolen submissions. :)

I'm not sure if it plays a sound for me since I have that box unchecked. I'll test it right now though. Anyway, I don't think the sound is that important since it makes a little pop up notification that tells you whenever something new is submitted. I prefer that over sound.
The commander icon doesn't bother me. Think of it as a goal to reach. :p
Good news: The flash by ShadowMike101 was removed. I got a PM from him, and it was duly removed. If it was not deleted by the admins, it seems as though being friendly may be better than using brute force.

I would have thought that some of them would get rather annoyed at the fact that there flash was removed for whatever reason. I guess he was having a good day or something.
Stolen flash submission. This person has had 3 accounts now for the same exact purpose... to submit games about Justin Bieber. Every submission is stolen from different sites and they're always sized improperly.
