Anyway after working in the portal for a long time I have seen thing I wish I could unsee. Thing is that there are crap flash that passed when it shouldn't have. Then there are some flash that are pretty decent but didn't make it pass judgement. When it happens, it makes you wonder if the voters knew what they're doing.
Also it doesn't help that a lot to times, the authors would sometimes put commentaries that would ironically betray their flash.
I have seen some that are good but the author would post commentaries such as "It's my first time, please go easy", "PLEEZ DONT BLAMMZ!" or "VOTE 5 PLZ!"
With comments like these, naturally the voters will assume the flash sucked and you know what happened.
And for the crap that passes, on days like Clock Day I don't mind but on other days the users will see that the author have submitted couple that passes and when that happens, the though would go "Hey he had some flash that passed, he must've done something right!" and automatically vote 5.
It never gets easier.
Granted in some cases the voters are in a hurry...

Users like yourself, or YoungAndWise or TheGreatOne, who are truly contributing to the good of Newgrounds by tracking down stolen and/or inappropriate flashes, posting them here and then following up on them are always welcome! I would join, but I tend to be quite busy with The Interviewer and other projects. However whenever I come across a stolen flash submission then I report it either to here, the NGPD, or both, because I know immediate action will be taken and it will be on the appropriate levels.

Posting in both isn't allowed. I use to post stolen submissions in both all the time, but then Mal said if it continued the NGPD thread would be locked so I stopped doing it. I don't think it would be a problem if you replied to a few post whenever you post it in both threads, but you shouldn't post the stolen submission alone in both threads.

I think this is one of those cases where you have to look at the email address to get a good idea. If you look at his profile it point to the website rathergood.com. We can assume that if the submitter has an email address that is rathergood.com related it will be the original author for sure.
If the email is from a generic email server, it doesn't necessarily mean it isn't the original author. This one needs more investigating. Perhaps getting in contact with the people at rathergood.com might be a good idea.

It isn't by the soup squad, it's just a group of people trying to give the soup squad a bad name. The submissions were removed because of it giving them a bad name The Soup Squad isn't a bad group... In fact, one of the members of the Soup Squad is in the EGB, and another is in the NGPD.
If the submission doesn't have this account credited, it's not officially by the Soup Squad.
