I am not against blamming, but hey, Ghost! I think that you blammed too much. You b/p rating is almost 3 which is very high. In my opinion, a user who give each submission a chance and vote fairly should have a rating around 2. I also don't like the slogan that you made. Blamming is important, but we are at the Elite Guard Barracks and our job is to defend the portal which includes protecting. I think that the slogan you posted was a bit too blam club like.

Besides I'll have you know when I vote blam on something I know it gets blammed and I vote save it gets saved, I only make mistakes on those darn "death to it" flashes which I refuse to save. Just fate has it that lately crappy flashes have really outnumbered the good ones.

53 b/p points today. Monday was in the 30's and yesterday was 69. This weekend i should finally reach half way to my next promotion. I have and average of arould 510 a week. heh, it has allways been that way. some idiots resubmit. In my opinion there are four reasons for that behavior.

A) they think that the next time they submit it, it will pass, or it might pass. it's simple they see a piece of crap in the portal and want to do the same. so when it doesn't work the first time they simply resubmit. (truth is they have another chance, but chances are that because it's a resubmission people will vote more harshley)
or
B) they HONESTLY believe the flash they made actually IS a masterpiece. and if the voters don't see that, it's just because the author is ahead of his time.
or
C) they do it to annoy the voters who voted badly on it
or
D) to get blam points themselves.

so A) is dumb B) gloats in his delusion c) is just an asshole or d)blam-hungry (read addicted)

Maybe his Blam to Save ratio is a bit too high, but I wouldn't blame him too much. My ratio is around the same as him, but it might just be what he thought of the flash quality and might miss B/P points.

Silver is ahead of gold in many military institutions. While it is intuitive, it is the precedent. I personally think silver looks better than gold, but that is just my taste. Either way, that's just the way it was done years ago, so that is how it is carried on. Note the stars of the US Army Generals are silver...just goes with the precedent.

Honestly, I am very harsh on resubmissions. My rationale is, "If it didn't pass the first time, it certainly won't the second." Even if you make some small changes, especially at the end, it doesn't make a damn difference. However, I've seen certain sumbissions grow over time to the point where I would actually save them. My problem is, though, is that this is what NG Alphas is for.

I was gone for 3 hours as I will on every Thursday starting now... You know, civil watch and stuff... I didn't miss too much... and again I repeat, as sad is it is fact remains you would have to turn the other cheek on a lot of flashes if you want a prefect save to blam ratio. For example... There are only about 3 or 4 worthy submissions right now out of about 8... There is no escaping the fact that crappy flash is more common than good flash. Why do you think only about a third of all submissions submitted in most days survive?

Well I'm back from an okay night sleep. Nothing much going on except Rainbow six vs. The mummy as I cna recall was blammed and I really didn't see that much of a change but it passed so too late to say anything right now. B/P just god awful 39. I'll return with more updates.

I'm not doing much better...only 44 so far...it was going quite fast a while ago but it's not holding the pace...hopefully it'll pick up again in the next few hours. :salute:
