It's cool to see that some members of the EGB make artworks (I know thats a sig, but it counts). When I was in the NGPD I felt like I was the only one who would draw and I think I was the only one to post regularly in the art forum (I may be wrong).

IMPORTANT BARRACKS BUSINESS
Ok guys, I know Eaglerock has been only around here and there (and in terms of posting I'm hardly better, but I do lurk at minimum once a day) so I'm going to make an executive decision here: prompted by Byte's views on a thread in the private forums (and for the record Byte, you are 110% correct) and Sheiz's comment that it has been over 6 months since the last one, I've decided to initiate the first of at least two Barracks-wide activity checks for 2011. While potentially losing great members due to their inactivity is always hard, sometimes a plant needs to be pruned in order to grow further (excuse the horticultural metaphor).
As for the PMs being sent out, I will leave it in the capable hands of our Recruitment Officer Byteslinger to contact all EGB members about continuing their membership as active members of the Barracks. Byte, I trust you to decide whether a cut-and-dry in-or-out type approach or a more structured "which of these categories best fits you" type approach is more appropriate at the given time, and also on the deadline for response, though my personal recommendation would be approximately two weeks, so that the next roster can reflect the changes made without putting Lizz under too much pressure. Keep in mind that if you fail to reply in the deadline you will be assumed inactive and removed from the roster, though should you return you of course may rejoin without going through the usual procedure.
I will create a thread on the private forums to document the responses to Byte's census. Hopefully this will make it very clear who is and isn't around in the unfortunate case where serious issues arise in the Barracks.
Any questions may of course be directed at myself or Byteslinger, I am but a PM away if needs be.

I have sent out a detailed PM to all active members as of 5:16PM today EST. (Got 4 responses already - yay!). Pretty much says the following:
Roll call is from today (3/5/2011) through March 30th, 2011. All members should report in with one of three statuses:
A - Keep on active roster
B - Place on inactive duty - should resume duties within 90 days
C - Requesting honorable discharge
Members that do NOT reply by 3/30/2011 will be considered AWOL and dishonorably discharged.
On 3/31/2011 the EGB roster will be changed to reflect the results of the roll call, and on 4/1/2011 the monthly report from Lizzardis will show the updated roster as it stands.

I got the roll call bytesliner of course I selected A I'm always lurking on here. but thanks for the update its been a while I think since the lastest EGB roll call. I have now XBox live working got a wireless one plugged at the back hopefully it will stay working. Tycrane good work on spotting those stolen flashes the author comments are suspect.
