Actually this submission is a bit of a grey area - while it isn't "hardcore porn" like the last cutieleaf game I reported, it is also not really much of a game as much as it is a slideshow of video clips spliced together. However, because the buttons actually progress the story action as opposed to just play another video clip, this little hint of interactivity saves it from "porn slideshow" as well.

I say, we leave it alone - hopefully she has learned her lesson from having both of her first submissions flagged and will stick to the virtual stuff.

Also, isn't it odd how many more up-and-coming (har har) female artists in recent times are using hentai and porn as a segue into Portal popularity? I am not saying all of them are doing it, but a surprising amount are showing up with adult content more often than not - at least not as much as I had seen in past Portal history.

First off, there is no need for name calling. Ihatesonic1 had made an observation about what he considered porn, and you seem to have a different opinion about such.

Now, to clarify the concept of porn: whether it is "live action" or "virtual", if it resembles humans doing adult sex acts that are inappropriate for this site, then yes, it can be considered pornography. Perhaps, but I am going to give it the benefit of the doubt and not flag it. If I know the author well enough, I think that any future submissions of his (it's a G.I.R.L.) will be exactly the same as this one - erotic video clips with an arrow button that goes to the next scene without deviation, much like a slideshow. If there's anything I'd flag it for, it is for stealing the video from some other website.

Submitting straight-up porn and hentai is discouraged, but there's nothing in the rules that prevents it from coming in unless it happens to be "hardcore", "illegal", or in slideshow format - this Flash is not guilty of anything. Because the rules are much more lenient for virtual or "drawn" adult content, the acts shown in this video are not "hardcore" - if it were a real person, it would most definitely be flagged under the "hardcore adult" clause.

Still, I know for a fact that an admin is closely monitoring the Portal now and killing adult Flashes dead - if they're in poor taste or blatantly pornographic. If this particular Flash happens to pass, expect it to be deleted - along with the author - within a few hours to days.

I have to say byte, I disagree with you on this point. The rules clearly state "photos or video of hardcore adult acts". When you talk about pornography, hentai is included in the definition of porn, so it's important to differentiate. I think the rules are put in place to only disallow actual footage of "real-life" pornography, and that virtual porn, even if it looks real (I think it looks like virtual porn clearly) is counted as fine for the site. Yes, the interactivity is limited, but it is still there. I've seen plenty of hentai flashes where the interactivity was much less than that.

That you might be able to convince me more on than the whole hardcorde porn thing. My understanding though is that they do not want slideshows because it's just images one after the other. This isn't really images, although it probably is just as simple to put together as a regular slideshow. It's not stolen. That user has quite a few past flash submissions. They probably just want people to re-host it on there flash website so they get more ad revenue.

Well starting of the day with a brand new level! Bout time this one came around with my deposit rate being so sporadic. As for the current state of the portal just when it's looking up it gets flooded by bullshit that drags it right back down. But things need to change there that's for sure dude to the piles and piles of shit that passes through on a dayly basis.

I have noticed that illwillpress is back again on Newgrounds only snag is I have seen these latest episodes on youtube. It is odd seeing them weeks now on Newgrounds still good, but not sure about Germaine I like the older ones lots better. Still good though. Bullshit getting through the portal? No kidding? Earlier today I made a thread ranting about how some 0.1 KB flash that didn't have a download to an extrenal source got passed Judgement. I mean come on even with today atrocious stat whoring it should have been blammed. But some how it managed to squeak by. It was deleted later, but still as I said in my thread before Poozy lock it the Admins need to bring back the consequences for bad voting.

Maybe after those bad statwhores lose the points they want so badly maybe they will learn to watch the flash movie and vote correctly on it.

Yeah that would be the correct thing to do considering. And well as bad as my depositing is around here i'm happy I finally got the crowbar. And don't know if I have a favorite level that I want to get to but that's probably because I haven't reallly thought about it that much. It is because of shit like is that that people are running around with Blam 45 Saves 26574. I know that Blam points don't come like they used to, but come on they are there if PEOPLE WOULD WATCH THE STUFF THEY VOTE ON!

But on another note their is a small percentage of the voters who think their vote don't have any power because when they vote to blam 9/10 the flash get protected by blind voters. So they get punished for doing the right thing while those abusing the system get more powerful. The sad thing is that are forgetting is that the first 200 votes a movie/game gets has more effect on a flash then any of the others.

I mean a flash can't get TOTW, UDOTW, Review check, or any of the other awards without first passing judgement. If the new voters trying to do the right thing realize this a lot of the spam and shitty flash that would pass would get blammed.
