Hey guys, just thought I'd let you know I'll be taking a two week break from all things BBS, as I have an insanely important two weeks ahead of me, where I could have anything from 25 up to 50% of my final marks for all my modules under my belt. Unusual, hasn't yet happened that 3 or 4 modules all have large assignments due in for the same time.
Plus side, when the Christmas exams are over I have 9 months of work in the lab at a large alumina refinery to look forward to, pay is quite good considering I won't be spending any money in rent etc. given the geographical proximity of the place.

My friends were hanging out with a guy that everybody knows as "Croco" (Yes, croco from crocodile... Awesome, isn't it?? *Sarcasm voice on*), so, I didn't know (and I still don't know) who the HELL is the fucking "Croco", I just know he studies in a public school...
During my class' typical msn chat, someone sent me an emoticon of the goddamn Croco, then, I asked a friend of mine if she knows Croco, and sent her the emoticon, she answered yes. I didn't know that she talked to him that night and showed him the emoticon, that was simply written "Croco" and his photo.

How much bigger is he compared to you? Can he really do it? I don't care much for solving problems with physical violence. I prefer getting even on a different level. For example, go out and get a T-shirt made that has his emoticon and the words "I Love Croco!" on it, and wear it to school. Now, clearly, it's neither offensive nor threatening, so the school can't get you into trouble. But it will confuse the hell out of our reptilian friend. I mean, how can you beat someone up who's wearing a shirt like that?

Not much of the images there are by the author, but they have been turned into a good flash. Some of the hentai slideshows have been made as quizzes and they all have stolen images, I think we're safe to say, so the line is difficult to draw and is by no means black and white.

Anyway, I laughed a lot with the T-Shirt part, but sadly, he's not a little guy, he's 10 cm (don't know the way you guys measure the things) taller than me and a lot of people of his school use GUNS, fucking god... I'll die if I use the "Croco T-Shirt" lol. But seriously, they use guns.

It's certainly a tricky line because I've seen plenty of authors upload art slideshows and in all reality the hentai slideshows are nothing but an art slideshow.
Of course, personally I think they should be removed because I bet a large percentage if not all are just stolen artwork, but what can you do. It's a tricky situation so I just let them slide (no pun intended)
I agree that some of the hentai quizzes that pass and win awards .don't really seem to deserve it. I mean as you say they did not create the artwork, and yet they get high score seems unfair just my opinion though. The drawings are not there's maybe but I guess it is hentai it usually passed anyway. Maybe I'm being cynical here. I think if your are going to report anything it is best maybe to PM Tom Fulp. I had the same trouble with not being able to send Wade Fulp anymore PMs.

Yea most of the time when we post stuff in here if it gets flagged it's because it's obvious. We don't have enough wait with just us to flag stuff. It's kind of annoying when I find stuff that is stolen, but that people wouldn't know out right and it doesn't get flagged.
Well I don't know why but it's usually pretty hard for me to spot them as I don't really know what to look for even after I have been here this long. That or just have not paid enough attention to things but I usually flag it if anything looks suspicious.

My rule of thumb is to look for first time flash submitters, but that alone doesn't mean they aren't the authors. Also, if the game has a logo from a website and the email address isn't from that website, it's highly likely that the game is stolen. That's why they let you know where the author's email address is from.
Also you can look at their other submissions. If they have many submissions that are from different websites, it's a pretty clear flag. Most of the time if I see something I think is suspicious, you just google the title of it to try to find the original and go from there.

While we can certainly appreciate your enthusiasm on spreading the word about the EGB, and we can't prevent you from creating your own page about us, you really do need to understand a few things regarding our position about Wiki and the Elite Guard:
1) EGSC EagleRock has the final say over the Guard. I would strongly recommend contacting him directly regarding any future advertising or information dispersal.
2) Between the EGB Forum and the EGB Website we have fully described the Barracks and all that we stand for in a controlled setting. EagleRock manages the Forum, and I manage the website. All information and content is confirmed and controlled by only us two - and as updates are required, we make the changes accordingly.
3) IMHO having to maintain a public WIKI page just adds unnecessary work and duplicity to the Elite Guard. Why should we have to worry about checking that WIKI daily to make sure it's accurate and not maliciously altered when we already have all of our public information available in a controlled environment? Really doesn't make sense to me, and I think you'll be hard pressed to convince EagleRock.
However, although I do know our Commander fairly well, I cannot answer for him. I think it best to let him cogitate on this situation and apprise us of his own views and insight.

In my area the schools have been off for veterans day and friday for a teacher work (inservice) day. So mabey 2 days is how long it takes to get bored and steal stuff. Ugh stupid kids. Theres better things to do with your time than steal.
