That's great Slnt and anyways when is the next part coming out? Anyways portal is going pretty slow right about now.
HO HO HOPE you become a Newgrounds Supporter this year!
We're working hard to give you the best site possible, but we have bills to pay and community support is vital to keep things going and growing. Thank you for considering!

Lizz and Krev, thanks for smacking me back down to earth. I guess I just get a little worked up sometimes and I really need to control my outbursts. Still can't wait for the next chapter though. BTW, I'm still holding at chapter 14 of BUF. It's sad that there are 35 chapters, and here I am 21 chapters behind. I've read part of Buster's fanfic and I had an awesome idea for the next chapter of "Duel Academy -- A Romantic Comedy."
Basically, you could say that my anger was more anxiety taking over for a short while.
Well, I hate to tell you, but you're now 22 chapters behind! I made everyone wait for Chapter 35 because of my stupid ISP, so I'll release this one a bit early. Enjoy everyone!
In case anyone has been wondering where I've been all day, apparently my dad has yet to pay the cable bill and in turn they disconnected our service until about 8:25 NG time give or take because at 8 when my mom and I went to watch NCIS, we got a notice on the TV saying that our cable box is not authorized to run. At first when the internet was fucking up around 2-3, I thought it was just a mere hiccup. Apparently, I was dead wrong.
In answer to your question Sire, I was hoping to have gotten it out well before now, but that ain't happening. Maybe after I get caught up in the portal with what is there and whatnot, I can get to work on chapter 10. Not making any promises. And no I didn't even start working on it yet.
It's September 30th, and the Barracks rollcall is complete. These are the results.

So as you can see, the roster got a pretty deep cut, but it's for the best---the roster will be easier to manage, and we'll have a more accurate knowledge of our forces. If there are any errors or corrections to these results, inform me and Lizzardis (who's doing the roster this time) as soon as possible.
Tomorrow we'll begin the Officer Assessment, where we go over the current officer positions and make any necessary adjustments. We'll also be going over EGB procedures for reporting and handling findings of rulebreaking and abuse, mainly using the Violations Reporting Desk for reporting rulebreaking users/flashes and the Master Violations List for recording confirmed offenders.

You should have been there when they had that animation where a flash gets hit by a lazor.
BLAM!
You destroyed someone else's hard work!

I swear, the Newgrounds Archive is made of awesome. Check out the other SWF's to see the whistleblowing flash, the savior flash, etc.

I have a question, once your story's finished, is it okay if I have some of my chapters being made as a crossover? Seeing how many charcters are dead in your story, the only way for it to make sense is if it's an alternate universe which my character have been to separate occasions.

I said it before, but there are some surprises here. But as you say, it's for the best. The roster should show who the active members are, and if anyone decided to leave (or was inactive) can simply come back later.

I can say that in total...21 Users have been removed. Of course I have to add S-H which in total the Barracks now has only 30 members.
Still....It should be fun to see how this plans out. Its a much bigger roster than the NGPD one and somewhat A LOT more complicated! xD
Well, considering that so many people left, the roster will be much smaller so it won't be THAT complicated ;)
Thanks Ismael for letting me do it BTW :)
No problem. I won't be able to be very active tomorrow, but I'll try to get on AIM so you can contact me if you have any problem. But if I'm not online, feel free to send me a PM if you want to know something.

Damn that animation sure is epic and it kinda reminds me of the Newgrounds SIM game. Anyways the portal is going pretty well today other then Chris Beer still being a nuisance everything is fine.
Well my dad paid the cable bill today so I won't have to worry about not having my internets for a while. Also, where the hell is everyone?
Thanks for the update SlashFirestorm and your role in EagleRock's story is very cool, and I'm eager to discover why he betrayed them. I have read up to Chapter 34 and I'm keen to read the next lot very good the story so far is. EagleRock I wish I could have read your next chapter but my fucking internet went down last night for about six hours. It was because of a fault in my area. So I know what its like to have no internet. SlntCobra1 your reason of course was not the same. Horrible without the net its drives me crazy. I'm keen to read byteslinger story also. Shame about the people who did not reply to the PM. So close to my next badge!

Yes, i it think i was for the best. The last members update was 50+ strong and from what i saw over half of them did not post here at all anymore. It was just time to make a big change and make us a tighter group insted of a large disorganized mass of users who don't know one another that well. The amount of people who did not respond was shocking, that it shows how meny people have just left newgrounds in a matter of 6 months.
Tomorrow we'll begin the Officer Assessment, where we go over the current officer positions and make any necessary adjustments.
That soulds like some fun. It would be cool to have a Officer rank sooner or later. Maby there will be a open spot or maby not, either or i would like to see what happens.

Yeah...Afro-Ninja obviously integrated the concept of that animation into his SIM. I'll tell you that SIM is one of the most addicting games I've ever played...

I was at work, so that basically explains me. I'm sure everyone else was just so sad that you had no Internet that they couldn't bear to post on the thread ;-)

Well, I've posted the last two chapters of the main part of the story, so basically the story's finished. The only thing left is the Epilogue, which will tie up a few more loose ends and basically clue you in over what transpired over the next two years in the story (let's just say life isn't always rosy and bright). I'm basically finished with the Epilogue, so I'm trying to decide when to release it. I was thinking October 1st, but I've been told that was too early, and I should lead people on for longer...lol
What does everyone think? Should I post it tomorrow or wait longer?

I'm not to sure maybe leave it longer so people can can wait tough one, but I guess we will wait for more and it wont be too soon. Maybe leave it longer perhaps if that is okay with everyone. I have not got to the last chapter yet but I'm looking forward to reading it soon. No spoilers please!

It's up to you, my story isn't anywhere near getting to the crossover chapter anyway
As I said, for it to make sense to get around the dead characters, I'd alernate universe.

Spoiler: stuff happens. :-P
Yeah, I'm leaning towards waiting a bit. Though, like I said before, I have the possibility of a sequel brewing in there. i'm going to turn it over in my head for a while and see what I can develop. Now that Slash posted the official roster for October, I can kinda bounce off of that and work with it.
At 9/30/09 06:26 PM, Idiot-Finder wrote: As I said, for it to make sense to get around the dead characters, I'd alernate universe.
Well, here's a few tips. I know a lot about my story what events are going to transpire in the epilogue and in the sequel. As far as who is dead and alive, take a look at the current roster. There are only two people that are dead on that roster: TheThing and myself. So, you have a good amount of Barracks members to work with, including all of the survivors of the match (Slash, Phantom, Coop, Pancakes, and Andrea, even though she's inactive.)
Also, if you are going to want to cross your storyline with mine, you might want to wait until I release the Epilogue. It basically catches you up on two years of events that occur after the events of the story and current time.

Yes, thats the case for me. There was not much for me to talk about since i don't care for the recent conversation about all of your stories @;-}>
Not that i don't like them, just that theres nothing for me to say.
How do you do, sorry I haven't been on here in ages, I lost intrest in all forums a few months back, dealing with person stuff and such, then I got a bit obssesed with some games and now I have a horrible university timetable :x

Heh, luckily there's a computer lab there that almost always has an opening for me, for my break hours and such.
Speaking of fanfics,, I can't seem to think of a good title for my next chapter. Any ideas? I know I should just go ahead and move onto the chapter itself, but until I know the title of the chapter, I won't know how to word it. :\ It's a damn curse I tell ya.

I do that quite a bit, actually...I probably refresh the page every 10-15 minute at least, but I only respond when I have something relevant to say.
