Well they're both seen by most as people who contribute to running the site so it's seen as setting a bad precedent when SCD is demodded for the kind of thing that Stamper is known and loved for.

SCD is right. I should have contacted him with the results. However, the results were announced to the mods and some of them wanted to break the news in general. I should have told them to not say anything, but at the time I thought I should make the official topic. That was bad judgment on my part and I apologize to SCD.

I wouldn't have even made a post in general about it if it wasn't for all the users who were debating the issue and expressing their opinions. I felt they deserved an explanation.

Again, I really had no opinion on the matter. I don't know SCD and I modded him based on the other mod's recommendations. Then after SCD made that topic (which isn't a smart thing to do with we have a lot of female mods that are highly respected by the other mods) they were very vocal about having SCD demodded. Then the mods voted to see if he should be remodded again or not. A few felt he deserved a 2nd chance and that's when I probably jumped the gun and remodded him, only to have another NG admin de-mod him as there were other concerns besides his joke topic. At this point some mods expressed that they didn't feel comfortable having him re-modded. So I decided to let the mods vote and I would go with whatever they decided since they know SCD much better than I do.

They voted no and I supported their decision.

I'm to busy to have to worry about the mods giving me shit everyday because they are frustrated by another mod. If they want someone out that badly and can show me some reasons why, then I will support them.

When it comes to Oscar, yes, some of the mods want him demodded, while others do not. The mods have failed to show me any real serious offenses. It isn't out of the question that we may hold other votes on current mods if enough mods feel there is a serious problem.

With SCD the mods felt there were other problems besides his joke topic. Some of the mods also didn't agree with the way SCD handled his demodding.
