Well, actually... Wolf and VeryProudofYa confronted me on NG Chat so we did some talking there. At least we learned something here - Mods do read their e-mail.

Rule of thumb with me at least:

If I'm visible on the BBS, but not on any of the public forums, I've stepped away from my computer. If it takes me longer than 30 minutes to respond to an email, either my email is locked up, or I've stepped away.

Even if I get an email hours later (say, the next morning) I will always follow up on it to see what (if anything) has happened with the situation. :)

That reminds me, once there was a user called Flash_Industry that made similar things. He made very good tutorials in flash, but later on he renamed the submission to ''farting wet poo'' or something, withall caps. Don't remember if he switched files, though.
