If you add all this stuff: <html><body> (reviewers list goes here) </body></html> and save the file as a .html, it will become a simple website-like page with clickable links. I´m not sure if it´s actually the best way to update lists though, no-one seems to use that method except me.

Building the spreadsheet to get everything to work did take some time, but pulling stats for all the regulars doesn't take too much time. I'd say around 10 minutes it takes.

Oh, you mean you update your list from a html file in notepad so that you can load it in a browser and click directly to people's profiles and get their review counts?

Fair enough. But I dunno if you're aware of this, but anyone like me and Dogma and others who use spreadsheets have been using Excel or OpenOffice's Calc or whatever other spreadsheet program to do the same thing only more simply. One of the columns of my spreadsheet has the URLs of everyone's profile, it's a column or two away from the username column. I can click on any person's profile link in my spreadsheet and it opens it in firefox (or whatever the default browser is).

Then when I need to put data in, I just put it in separate data cells in their own columns, rather than doing anything with notepad.

Once I've updated the entire spreadsheet, only THEN would I open my list's .html file in notepad, and paste all the raw data/html code from my spreadsheet into the notepad window to replace the old list update.

That, or just randomly click on everyone you see reviewing in the portal who you don't recognise from your list, I suppose. You could do that, but it's still not fulproof. #;-}>

As I just mentioned to him, of course it does. But most people who get a ton of one stat tend to have SOME of another stat, at least, which makes it a whole lot easier to find them.

Yes, it's possible. As this list is updated manually it is possible to miss some people. Especially if they don't post often on the BBS it's really hard to track them down ;) .

Indeed, it is possible. I think it´s pretty accurate at the moment though as I only found one new guy on the pentalist. But there could still be some users with a high review count and relatively low exp, bp and post count, which are very hard to find.

Fair enough. But I dunno if you're aware of this, but anyone like me and Dogma and others who use spreadsheets have been using Excel or OpenOffice's Calc or whatever other spreadsheet program to do the same thing only more simply. One of the columns of my spreadsheet has the URLs of everyone's profile, it's a column or two away from the username column. I can click on any person's profile link in my spreadsheet and it opens it in firefox (or whatever the default browser is).

Then when I need to put data in, I just put it in separate data cells in their own columns, rather than doing anything with notepad.

Once I've updated the entire spreadsheet, only THEN would I open my list's .html file in notepad, and paste all the raw data/html code from my spreadsheet into the notepad window to replace the old list update.

I know almost everybody does that, but I´m not so good with Excel. How long did it take you on average to update the saviours and blammers list?

I guess I can conclude that this list is pretty accurate =)

We can only hope, seeing as how it's possible there's 10 folks out there with 1000+ reviews who have no exp, blams, saves, or posts.... and all they do is review. And how would we ever know, unless they get into the top 10 reviewers and show up on NG's official list, eh?

That, or just randomly click on everyone you see reviewing in the portal who you don't recognise from your list, I suppose. You could do that, but it's still not fulproof. #;-}>

Is there a specific reason for why you stop at 680? It doesn´t seem like such a special number to me.

I lost a review or two this week as well. It happens, there's not much you can do about it, save going out and writing more reviews.

At least you gained places on the list with your +13 reviews. Neither me, nor VelvetDarkRocks gained one spot from our exploits.

I wouldn't call this a particularly awesome week. It's not even 2 reviews per day. If you were getting 5 a day, that would be a pretty good pace, especially as your reviews look like you cna crank them out at about 10-20 per hour.

So, it probably had been a few months, then. Still, he could have sped up or slowed down recently, so maybe he was reviewing 20 per week before I found him for the pentalist, and thus he really only earned his way onto your list in December or January without anyone noticing him, say.

Well, not the EGRL. That should take almost as much time as the pentalist. 300 people, so more peops... but just blams and saves as stats, instead of all five.

But from what people say, life's got a semi-automated system for that, so maybe it doesn't take as long.

With Excel? Oh, not much time at all, at least not compared to my top 500 VP lists and pentalists. They are/were just top 50s, of course, though. So even shorter than your top 100 here.

But if all of us just do a bit of htat... it's less of a waste of time for each of us, yet could have far better results. I'm definitely going to keep an eye out for 700+ reviewers, and check if they're already on your updates.

I should say that I was only giving a very superficial summary of the show for Bahamut's ease of digestion there.
