Feels almost like the good old days though. :) Good to see some new people coming in; running past some of the old veterans! There's really not enough activity in this list. Except the top of it. Might be worried if he was closing in there but still seems like a pretty comfortable gap...

Did you get all your questions answered btw? Regarding how the users are found, it's all a manual process, either with automatic tools to scan certain pages (back when there wasn't a no-robots limit on the deposits page) and just digging around to find the most active users, and slowly it all grew into pretty big lists. Still probably quite a few newer users who aren't included though, always good if you see any.

As long as they're not rule breaking (i.e. unless enough of them get removed that he no longer shows up on the list), he fits the criteria to be added.

You won't know until the the list is updated. I used to try and guess, but sometimes the reviews are a day's total off.

Really enjoy still seeing myself on this list. I've done a decent amount of reviews the last couple weeks so it'd be nice to se myself go up the rankings, if even just one spot.

It was an update that removed reviews for content that was either blammed / deleted / removed by the author. I noticed I lost far more audio reviews than anything else. Not even upset, would rather the reviews not exist than have a review linked to a submission that no longer exist.

I actually wish reviews for blammed submissions stayed. The others I understand, but this way doing reviews on submissions you think are gonna get blammed is discouraged, so a lot of the time the authors won't get feedback/advice because people aren't getting any reward for giving them said feedback. I just think it would be a practical feature.

Weird edit: my review count jumped up by about 40. I thought it was weirdly low before. Does anyone know what's causing this? Could it be a glitch relating to this update?

A bug being... fixed? I always considered reviews staying around even after a submission went away a feature, and was hoping they'd start doing the same for deleted threads and BBS posts. ./ As in: you'd still keep your posts even when the thread went down... this is sad. It didn't affect blammed submissions either, only ones for some reason removed after they'd passed judgment. If this wasn't something new, and reviews on submissions deleted for other reasons are still OK...

Well I understand reviews on blammed submissions getting removed more than the others, since those tend to be unappreciative or abuse - reflecting the submission, but you have a good point about the feedback. I rarely ever review submissions I know will get blammed since I know my review will go down with it. The author might not even see it before it does. If it was different I'd probably act accordingly, and you're right, those users are the ones who need feedback the most.

Best case it'd be great if reviews are entirely independent of the submission. They're contributions by other users after all, and shouldn't be affected by the submission author IMO. As posters shouldn't be affected by an OP. As anyone should have control over their own content. Nothing removed without reason.

Well for rulebreaking reasons, of course, I understand that. I'd rather reviews link to a non-existant submission than disappear entirely though. If that is an issue I would've wished the title could simply be unliked on those reviews...

I lost something like 300 reviews. I understand removing reviews for unpublished content, but not blammed content. Think most of mine was audio reviews though. Ngl, I felt a little childish -- tears pricking my eyes. Internet impermanence, ho!

I agree with CyberDevil as well. Let us keep our reviews. Losing so many great reviews at once is losing parts of history that can never be returned.

WIll there be an award most reviews lost. I hope to place in the top 25.
