I actually don't think it deserves that spot, it's not really that great. The first one was better.
A bunch of people probably just instantly fifened it when they saw the authors name and the title. Madness replaced it now, though, another one of those good movies that don't really deserve their spot.

Don't get me wrong, neither of them are bad, in fact, both of them are great, but definitely not first-place material in my eyes.

I'm not sticking up for Madness or anything (the latest instalment didn't sit well with me at all), but I don't find colour to be important in the slightest. You may remember me asking about the noir section of Newgrounds some time ago? Turned out Tom's definition of noir is anything done in black, white and greys, which differs greatly to my own definition (#2). Regardless, there are PLENTY of wonderful animations featured there, not least of all the B&W Drama Theater, a great series with a Don Hertzfeld/Whiteninja style of humour. As you can tell by the name, it's done in black and white. This, however, does not take away from the cartoons at all. The jokes are still funny, the voices come out just as clearly and it may even cut down on filesize (have nothing to base that last one on, anyone knowing that to be incorrect feel free to prove me wrong). Krinkels could very well add colour to his animations with ease, but it isn't really needed. Madness achieves its purpose perfectly with the style it already has. The world of Madness is a very bleak one, clearly shown and emphasised with the lack of colour.

Everyone has their own preferences, but rating one flash better than another for the sole reason of colour (or lack of) doesn't make sense to me.

Saves are hard to come by these days, which is why I'm so happy about getting 2,000 of them :)

Todays my lucky day,when i woke up i deposited my exp and found out i was lvl 11,then i looked at my profile and found out i had recently went up a b/p level and a whistle lvl so that kicked ass right,i was on top of the world so i went and i was gonna make a sig or two before delivering my papers when i found out i was accepted into the ism as a temp which made me piss my pants.

After all that i had to deliver my papers,while i was doing that i dropped a paper and while rooting in the snow for it i found $20 bucks!!!!
And just when i thought it couldnt get any better i heard on the radio school was cancelled :D

I actually agree with you. I am also kind of sick of some of the Madness characters as well and the chincy text... Bunnykill seems more original, but the action in both is quite equal in entertainment value. Plus, i too, love the colour.

No, no, it's not that I don't like it just because there's no colour, there's several other factors. I agree, a lot of the 'noir' flashes on Newgrounds are great and use their noir theme well, I love the B&W theatres, the 'Smile!' flash and several others. It's just that I think it makes a fight movie like Madness look stale, and it just looks like Bunnykill's creator just tried more than Krinkels by adding colour.

But on the other hand, I did see a fan-made colour Madness in one of the Time Trials once, and that didn't look all that good, either. The colours looked all weird and stuff.
