If a list provides no useful information, there is no point in expending the effort required to create and maintain the list.
If adding more experience levels or BP ranks has no real effect, there is no point in creating the graphics and revamping the coding required to implement them.
If there's no point in implementing a concept, make a new idea. You need to play devil's advocate on yourself more often, I enjoy it when I have to work to find something wrong with a plan.
ok, ok I will find a better idea. It's maybe an uncessary change but I just wanted to contribute. Admins already stated that most changes mentionned in the past won't be accepted so I tried something "new" (is it new?). My idea was very simple and easy to implement, too bad it's almost pointless. I was sure that it could give a minimum of motivation for egsc users. :(
The fear is most likely that it's a slippery slope. Once you establish the precedent that you are willing to make changes to the basis of how part of a system works, the flood gates are open. What about here? Or here? Why here, but not here? ad infinitum
That seems true. I guess that we will need to wait until Lijim changes his mind or find a new possible modification that he likes. Right now, we still give him those suggestions, he just refuses them but one day he might accept some of those. I doubt that the stat system will never be modified. It was modified earlier, why not later?
Let's be patient and keep accumulating the ideas until we see an opening and then he will decide which ones he will consider and which ones will stay in the garbage.
