I have a few times, but you're right that this one is due for a makeover. I just heard back from the shop that the motherboard on one of the PCs and the power supply on the other is fried. ~shrug~ maybe I'll turn them into one working PC . Depending upon how they do the write up for them, I may be able to file an insurance claim on them. "Death due to old age" isn't going to get them to cut me a check ^^

Once that situation gets squared away I'll be able to move on to other things ... like getting back into some graphic editing and updating my website the the images I scanned into the (now inaccessible) hard drives.

Soundforge is THE BEST wav editor out there. My primary purpose in life is to be a musician/sound engineer, and always use a combination of SForge & Samplitude. Try and get as many plugins as you can, Direct-X or not.
