There seems to be more level ups for some of the level nine's. There's about a little over a month until I reach level 10.

I find there is no boost in VP after you hit the higher levels. I didn't realize that until now.

You do, but just not as often. The higher your level the more HT bends you over, making you gain less per day on your next level requirement.

I think it's safe to say I am no longer in that n00b class. Level 10 was n00b becuase people always stop and level 10. Level 11 is for those select few who stick with newgrounds, and finally, level 12 and beyond is for the dedicated.

Now, of course that could just be me and my opinion, but I think it makes sense.

I am happy, I love the level 12 Icon so much more than the level 11 one, and I am happy that i am going to be sticking with this for a long time. I am happy. :)

Well done to WhyteMage on the VP, and MPA on the STUPIDLY LARGE number of blams. Keep it up...

Pimp and ht52 have above 17000 pts and I wouldn't call them dedicated users. They just come here every day, vote 5 movies, deposit and they are gone. Sometimes someone else do the voting for them... A dedicated user is someone with many b/p pts, reviews and posts. That's someone that spends time in ng. You should know how much time blamming/protecting consumes.

Lvl 10 is decent... more like amateur NG user...
Lvl 11 is an improvement of lvl10 and finally
lvl12 your level, you are dedicated to NG
But to me (my opinion) you aren't a *big* level until you reach lvl14.

You do have a point. Well, I can safely say I have quite a bit of B/P points, Posts, and reviews. W00t, I am the perfect user. Hahahaa, Actually not at all, Newgrounds has lost it "super amazing awesomeness" for me. It's still my favorite site, and I still frequently visit here, but I post less and less, and I b/p less and less. It's a shame, but there is soooooo much more out there. Ng is more of a hobby now, rather than life to me. You all will realize that in time. But whatever. I still will continue to visit again and again unless I stop doing flash or I move to some third world country. :D

Well put. Level 14 is definitly l337 above everything else. I guess you are super dedicated when you reach that level. That is true.

What the hell is a nub? A begginer? An incompetent? You guys aren't even sure about it. You call people nubs when you feel superior to them but it just makes you look dumber.

Level 10 doesn't mean you are an amateur. It means that you had the patience to deposit during almost 3 months.
Level 11 isn't an improvement. It means that you spend more time on ng or that you signed-in earlier than level 10 users.
Level 12 doesn't make you a dedicated person on ng, see my previous post on the same page. I won't repeat myself.

Level 14 certainly looks cooler but it doesn't make more important. Depositing isn't the only thing on ng that shows that you are dedicated. Try to remember that.

ok I think you miss the point... I'm not saying lvl under 9 are n00b! Not at all!! What I'm saying is that it can be see as a n00b level. That's the main problem about internet. You don't see new users as people with an intelligence and an opinion that could be considered. You see users as accounts with an avatar. That's the first thing that you notice. It takes time for users to consider another user as someone they should respect, somehow the avatar always modify the way people think :(.

There can be more then 1 gold.... it's restrictions are suppoesdly based on the Deity's whistle 'points'.

I dont know about Bronze and silver though, I think they always stay the same requirement.

Even if there can only be 'one' gold, if there is a tie, there WOULd be two, not one. Same with Deity.

Those are some good questions -Noir- but I'm certain I'd keep coming back to Newgrounds even if those changes were implemented. Not once have I ever advertised my number of blam/protect points, experience ranking, etc. I've been here for over two years now and I've grown quite fond of this place and some of the users that frequent it.
