They're all spammy. Someone should just make an 'Nominate the next mod!' topic, although I think I might have seen one of those in the past.

Sure, there are new mods... so there have been a FEW topics about Ozcar and Neph the past little bit, but there are so many newer threads for nominations.... not like they really get a say in the decision anyways.

It's almost sad that people are making topics about themselves using alt-accounts.

Yup.

But... yeah, back to the mod topic, I dont think there should be any new more mods for a while.... the additions of Ozcar, Alastor, and Neph are plenty, because they are on quite often.
But the topics nominating others to be modded are quite annoying....

Meh, there were enough mods already...As many have said before, a new GMT mod would be nice though.

I read through this topic since my previous post, and the only person worthy of congratulating from what i see is ramagi for hitting 45K B/Ps, great job!

Yeah. Congrats ramagi and everyone else who did anything.

Nothing to prove in his FIRST one, except for the fact that both of the accounts have the same e-mail address (at the time).
Though that wasnt found out until after the lockage.

AC500BELOW's SECOND appreciation thread of himself, proof being that he made a post on the wrong account, then he admits afterwards....

Those were two pretty stupid mistakes. If you're going to make an appreciation topic for yourself(wich is sad already) at least do it right :P

Nifty listing, James. And yep, you are correct on that last bit. Same reason that my "exp increases per day of the level boundaries" data remains correct (well, equally accurate, at least) today and next year. Until level/rank system is changed, those types of lists will remain accurate.

Now, had you made a list of the exp you needed to get 10 VP with all of the b/p ranks, that would be inaccurate by next week. #;-}> Still might be worth doing, as I think it would be more intuitive for people than base VP... but it would just be a "snapshot" of sorts. I hate it when there's a new acronym on the block and you've got no idea what it means. I first saw AFAIK in a post of gfox's, accompanied by JSYK. I sat there pondering for a while and managed to decipher AFAIK (as far as I know, as has been explained) but I had to ask about JSYK (just so you know, as it turned out). It seems there's a new one every month.

New acronym on the block? AFAIK and JSYK are two insanely ancient, in internet time, acronyms, man. They were both heavily in use when I got online in 1994. Hell, they've probably been used since you were born, dude. "New one every month" my ass. I haven't learned any new acronyms in years. Hopefully that URL will work for ya and anyone else. It's the path of Tropical Storm/Hurricane Ivan since it moved into the Western Atlantic in the first place. It goes along, passes Cuba, sweeps up along the west edge of FL, it smashes into Alabama... it moves up into TN and NC and then up to Pennsylvania, I think (it's off the map at that page, unfortunately), then it somehow CURVES BACK DOWN INTO THE ATLANTIC, goes down the coast... crosses through FL and gets into the gulf again... crosses its path from the first time towards the USA's coast... and comes up to Louisana. Once it enters Texas, I've heard it will either curve SW and go down the coastline (but over land, not over water like it's mostly been doing everywhere)... or it will curve NW. We'll see.

It's not going to be anywhere near as bad for the Houston area as Tropical Storm Allison in early June 2001 was, that I can assure you.

Yeah, SCD, he thinks that way of me too. We are in the same boat. Dude, just forget about it. You and I are good people, and he knows that. Me thinks he was just kidding :)

Even if there's a ring of truth in a criticism, correction, or whatnot that I give someone, all you have to do is ask yourself this question:

From what I've seen of gfox's posts to me, is there even a 10% chance that gfox views me as a friend on NG or in ANY sort of favourable light at all?

If the answer is yes, then you never need worry that much about my intentions when a post of mine slightly insults you or hurt your feelings. Let me know if you like, but PLEASE don't assume I did it on purpose or had malicious intent. ;_;

Well, that can happen when gfox posts one huge 6k chunk, then tries to post the next and finds out it's a bit over 6.5k.... and then has to clip out a few little bits and repost it and then posts a third 5k-ish chunk... and boom, SK's replied to the first bit but now there's stuff in one of the two other bits he wants to reply to. #;-}>

Now... once I go and DL your new update of the post editor, I should be set without having to use two separate .txt files and multiple instances of notepad! WOO HOO! #;-}>

I'll definitely have it DLed and in use by the next time I catch up in here (tomorrow night, most likely, after I do the VP list update and all).

Notepad on steroids! :-O Besides, like I posted earlier, even Microsoft Word couldn't have caught that mistake. "Our" and "your" are completely grammatically interchangeable. (OGM big words!)

... heh. I didn't mean anything negative by the "just" up there, but anywho... yep.

I like notepad's font and dimensions better than your program's, though, unfortunately. #;-}> The ONE drawback.

A mini-frenzy. Of sorts. #;-}>

Anyway, have fun with all the replying-to-gfox's-huge-3-posts, guys. I'll be around tomorrow like I said up there, hopefully I'll keep up on this topic a lot better for awhile longer... we shall see.

It's here in the US on BBC America. I saw a little bit of it. Seemed like a newschool Monty Python of sorts. I prefer my Canadian Kids in the Hall, though. #;-}>
Kids in the Hall? Haven't heard of that. Little Britain is a bit like Monty Python, yea. I love all those movies! But the best British comedy in the last few years is definitely The Office. A work of comic genius. Everyone should watch it.

Kids in the Hall is the greatest sketch show, aside from Monty Python... EVER.

It was produced for several years in the 90s in Toronto. It featured five hilarious Canadian bastards. You gotsta love it. Go search on google and find some fan site or something. You may find a scene description or even a video clip or two.

And yes, I've seen the Office. The characters are quite rich, but... in a way, it's kinda like the British attempting to make a more dull version of Seinfeld (the prototypical show about nothing). The plots don't often have that much to interest me, considering how interesting the characters are... but anyway, my gf loves it, so I've seen some of it as a result.

I've apparently seen more British TV shows than you've seen Canadian ones. #;-}>

Whoops.

Seems Bedn must be having some serious troubles keeping the website up and running, not like theres anything to new or interesting there though.

Probably because of all the advertising of the site he's trying to do to get new users (Which proceed to swamp the site in views and fuck everything up for teh bandwidth quotas).

And he was all happy with the new hosting and all. Ah well, let's hope it doesn't last two weeks like it did lsat time.

IM GUNNA MISS A DEPOSIT! Now ill never make it to level 8!

hhahahahah. Anyway, I was considering catching up on the RG BBS topics I like to keep up on, and maybe doing some more PS portal reviewing.... guess I don't gotta worry about that this weekend after all. I'll stick with posting here and trying to get some reviews down in the flash portal instead.

Anyway, 6942 is a nifty number. I AM OUT FOR TONIGHT. See you guys tomorrow, and I'll be bringing teh VP listness with me. WATCH OUT!

Jesus, this topic sure did grow an incredible amount since I last posted! O_O
Well, congrats to all who leveled up!
Thanks to some “young” upstarts, I have been bumped from spot “46" to “48" in blams and saves. No matter, they will give up soon enough. At least, I hope they will.

Also, I wanted to tell you guys about my new Club I opened in the Clubs & Crews section of Newgrounds, "Philosophic Tentacles".
If any of you are into Philosophy with a side of debating, please join, the Club is just starting, so the more members to help kick start it, the better.
Thanks!

I think I kinda joined... with that post I made in there....
It should be a successful club... my only concern is all of the opinions given, it may turn into a massive argument, and soon become a flame fest.

Hiya guys. It's a little late, but congrats on topping 700 pages, though I knew it was coming. This shall be the largest topic, one day(Actually, is it already? I'm out of the loop, as it were).

I also see we have some new mods. Congrats to them.

The ASM is the biggest topic, and it grows faster than we do (more spam? o_0) so unless that gets locked, we'll never be the biggest :( Not that it's a bad thing, not being the spammiest topic...

Indeed we do. And a mighty fine job they seem to be doing so far...

I will see to it that it will stay a club for debate and not for flaming. However, if some idiot comes in posting something like "WTF? All this philosophy stuff is bad, you will all burn in hell!" or "Umm, U's goys iz stupit". Then they are pretty much asking to be flamed, and they are deserving of nothing more.

NEARLY FORGOT ABOUT PURE? (sniff) I hope that's not what they say about me when I'm gone. ;_;

How could anyone forget about you? With your green aura and your green mod name and your sig and profile pic with green in it and the fact that mods have their names at the bottom forever, with "Moderated by:" in green. And also because of your long posts, helpfulness and your nice nature. Speaking of Pure, he posted for the first time in 3 weeks in this topic.

And the reason why the posts are so long is because he doesn't read the topic everyday.
Right now I'm on an every-other-day pattern. I don't think I can keep it up for long, though. #;-}>

Well you still don't read the topic everyday (or if you do read it, you still don't post in it everyday), so you can still post many long posts. It's not like anyone can stop you or want to stop you. You you you you.

I find more to reply to when I'm not struggling to get through dozens of pages of this topic, I suppose.

I think most people find more when it's short, the number of posts saying "I only replied to the posts on this page" and "congrats to anyone who I missed" proves that.
