Heh, another way of putting what Recon wrote is we (Wi/Ht members) hold elections every 2-6 months to induct a new member. To be a nominee in the elections you basically need to be a regular poster around here, help people out with their questions, and not be an annoying jackass. Here is a list of the current members (second post from the bottom) although the 20th member has been chosen today (which has yet to be revealed) in the election that was held all week.

I can't go into detail about the recent election (spancker would be furious with me) but I can say this much; There's been people that have been nominated (both past and present) that I never even knew existed on Newgrounds! Haha! I'm not sure how I overlooked these individuals (maybe short, sporadic posts) but can you imagine if they were elected and I bumped into them days later? I'd be like "Congratulations bud. Wow, what an incredible day. I had an excellent breakfast with an old buddy (I should've still been sleeping, but hey), a great day at work (the receptionist was acting up again, no complaints here, details through e-mail for a select few) and I made a killing on the portal (at least 100 points). Now I'm gonna pack up, head home and grab me a footlong meatball sub with jalapenos and hot sauce (I'll enjoy it tonight, regret it tomorrow morning). Later freakazoids!

Actually I had someone try to use that in a Scrabble game a few years ago. It was disallowed as it's not a valid Scrabble word, but they were so insistent that it is an English word that I did some research on it abd it stuck in my head.

In Old English, boun is both present and past participle and is synonymous with the verb ready. By extension, bouns is readies. Since it's in the word bounsstage I tweaked it into something that makes a bit more sense ... stage of readies = more than one thing readied at a time = ready for anything.
